Excellent lighters!
After reading the reviews I decided to give these lighter's a chance. For $11 and some change for 2 lighter's that's a bargain , the lighter is very sturdy and seems solid. It's easy to fill with a big enough window to see when you're getting low on fuel , also the flame adjustment wheel on the bottom is easy to use. I have had these for about a week now and they're perfect for lighting my cigar's. Plus you don't have to worry if it's windy or not , with a regular lighter you have to shield the flame so it doesn't keep blowing out. I'm very happy so far with this purchase , hopefully they will last a long time. Also the best part is the butane fuel is very cheap at Walmart , one can cost as much as a decent standard lighter. At $3.50 a can these lighter's should last quite a while. I definitely recommend this lighter , will update if it doesn't last... Edit 10/23/23 bought these lighter's in February of this year and they're still working fine , I use them in the garage for lighting my "yard cigars" and haven't had any problems. At $11 for 2 lighters even if they only last a year it's still worth it.....

This is the best lighter I have ever had.
These are some very good lighters. I use them to light a pipe. I only smoke it once a day, and sometimes not every day.But it is very reliable. And the good hot jet flames light my pipe very easily. You do have to be a little bit careful not to get your finger in the way. But that's not hard to do.I like the fuel capacity. Like I said I light my pipe once a day. And one filling with butane will last me at least a month if not more. And it does have the little window so you can see how much butane is in there. You also have the control valve at the bottom so you can control the intensity and the size of the flame. I keep mine on the lower side. The quality is very good. I don't keep it in my pocket, so I can't say anything about how it travels. But as far as working well, mine has. Lights first time every time. Even works in a pretty good wind. All in all, I have to say this is one of the best lighters I have ever had.

It works well and seems quite durable.
The lighters seem to be made well, solid construction. However, I've had them for about a week now and the flame is starting to sputter as though it has too much fuel, plus arching outward instead of going straight up like when I first received them. Unfortunately, I find myself not using it as much as the sputtering makes me a bit nervous. For the price they are a decent lighter. I've bought a single $25 electric+torch lighter 2 years and it works as good as it did the day I bought it. I'm always willing to give a product that I haven't tried before a chance. If I find a flaw, I'll tell you. Flaws do happen we all know that. Corrections can be made, and future products from them will be that much better. We will see what happens as time goes by. There is a 1-year warranty for these lighters. I hope they stand by their word. Urgrette if you are reading this and you want to check out this lighter for a possible defect, I can send it to you. I can't send you the other one as I gave it to a friend.

Best lighter I ever had / How to repair igniter a year later
I bought these about a year ago. I have had many lighters over the years. These are in first place -- most only last a month or so at best. The cap is an excellent safety feature I don't set my pants on fire. It also keeps the nozzles from getting clogged with lint. The materials are excellent and it is very good looking. Mine have been dropped many times on pavement, no dings, dents, or other damage, just a little chipping of the paint on edges. The flip-out handle for the gas valve is a big improvement over other lighters. You can easily adjust the flame instantly without tools.. If filled per directions and you use it regularly, it lasts about a week if you keep the flame set at about a 3/4".After about a year, the igniter gets sticky and won't click. It is easy to fix in about 8 minutes:HOW TO REPAIR IGNITER when it stops clicking.1. Get some silicone oil on Amazon. It comes in a small bottle and can be applied via a small tip. Silicone oil is very handy for a lot of things where you don't want the oil being turned into dirty goo. Great for sliding aluminum parts such as telescoping tripods.2. Rotate valve to the clockwise to the closed position (for safety reasons when testing)3. Pull the adjuster cap off the bottom.4. Remove the two phillips screws and remove the black base5. Slide the cover off the gas container, slide the black cover off the top part. The two grills will fall away and the slide knob will fall off. Note the position of the two grills when you remove them.6. With the lighter in the vertical position, put a good dose of silicone oil on the top of the igniter post shaft where it goes into the igniter. work the button a few times. add more oil and work it in another couple of times until the oil works down to the bottom of the igniter and it starts working again.7. Replace the grilles and the slider knob on the housing and slide the black housing back on. Slide the gas container cover back on.8. Put the black base back on lining it up with the two screw holes. Make sure the brass igniter contact is lined up with the screw hole when you put the base back on. Replace the screws.9. Push the adjust cap back on so the stop pin on the cap lines up with the limit stop on the housing. If you get it right you will be able to rotate the cap counterclockwise almost a whole turn. Be sure the cap is on properly or it will fall off.10. Test it and make sure you can regulate the flame from low to high.
