Best lighter I ever had / How to repair igniter a year later
I bought these about a year ago. I have had many lighters over the years. These are in first place -- most only last a month or so at best. The cap is an excellent safety feature I don't set my pants on fire. It also keeps the nozzles from getting clogged with lint. The materials are excellent and it is very good looking. Mine have been dropped many times on pavement, no dings, dents, or other damage, just a little chipping of the paint on edges. The flip-out handle for the gas valve is a big improvement over other lighters. You can easily adjust the flame instantly without tools.. If filled per directions and you use it regularly, it lasts about a week if you keep the flame set at about a 3/4". After about a year, the igniter gets sticky and won't click. It is easy to fix in about 8 minutes: HOW TO REPAIR IGNITER when it stops clicking. 1. Get some silicone oil on Amazon. It comes in a small bottle and can be applied via a small tip. Silicone oil is very handy for a lot of things where you don't want the oil being turned into dirty goo. Great for sliding aluminum parts such as telescoping tripods. 2. Rotate valve to the clockwise to the closed position (for safety reasons when testing) 3. Pull the adjuster cap off the bottom. 4. Remove the two phillips screws and remove the black base 5. Slide the cover off the gas container, slide the black cover off the top part. The two grills will fall away and the slide knob will fall off. Note the position of the two grills when you remove them. 6. With the lighter in the vertical position, put a good dose of silicone oil on the top of the igniter post shaft where it goes into the igniter. work the button a few times. add more oil and work it in another couple of times until the oil works down to the bottom of the igniter and it starts working again. 7. Replace the grilles and the slider knob on the housing and slide the black housing back on. Slide the gas container cover back on. 8. Put the black base back on lining it up with the two screw holes. Make sure the brass igniter contact is lined up with the screw hole when you put the base back on. Replace the screws. 9. Push the adjust cap back on so the stop pin on the cap lines up with the limit stop on the housing. If you get it right you will be able to rotate the cap counterclockwise almost a whole turn. Be sure the cap is on properly or it will fall off. 10. Test it and make sure you can regulate the flame from low to high.

Just oddly one day both broke less than two weeks time of receiving them
Usually bf when i bought this same exact torch and company made by the same too they worked very well and no issues at all with any if them all the way to the day that each got stolen from me instead of breaking on me. I had prior bought 4 total of these bf these last two of the same torches and made by same company bought as a set of two deal and within less than 2 weeks time using each of them barely for very long time ir for many usage they both within a few days of each other and within only two weeks time completely broke on me no sign bfhand that either of them were fixing to break or any difference in their performance ignite refueling flame size butane fuel spulage or any weird sounds from either of them after both breaking either. They weren't dropped at all and ever weren't stored in properly or extremely hot or extremely cold temperatures and places either. They just both no apparent reason no signs bfhand one day just stop igniting at all and or even sparking up a little bit inside it's top hole to where the ignition to place within and then came out of and from either and again both only a few days from Each other and after only having and using sometimes through out the day less b than two weeks time they both just broke and stopped working sparking igniting completely no reason no sign bf hand and I have troubleshooted this item here on Amazon and provided for this particular item and torch as available support provided for this exact particular item and torch and after doing the given steps and any possible way to troubleshoot and or fix this item and particular torch as they both still don't work.

great for lighting cigars
The **Urgrette 2 Pack Torch Lighter** with triple jet flames is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a reliable, powerful, and versatile lighter. After using it for various purposes, here's my detailed review: ### **Pros:** 1. **Triple Jet Flame:** The standout feature of these lighters is the **three powerful jet flames**. The triple flame provides intense heat, making it perfect for lighting cigars, candles, BBQs, or even starting a fire outdoors. The flames are highly concentrated and light up instantly, which is especially helpful in windy conditions. 2. **Windproof:** Speaking of wind, these lighters perform exceptionally well in outdoor settings. The powerful jet flames remain steady even in moderate wind, making them perfect for camping, hiking, or beach trips where regular lighters may struggle. 3. **Refillable Butane Design:** The lighters are **refillable**, which is not only cost-effective but also environmentally friendly. Refilling is simple and mess-free, and it’s great that the product comes in a two-pack, so you always have a backup on hand. 4. **Durable Build:** These lighters are solidly built with a **metal body** that feels durable and long-lasting. They’re lightweight but sturdy, making them easy to carry around without worrying about damage. The design is sleek and fits comfortably in the hand. 5. **Adjustable Flame:** The flame height is **adjustable**, which adds versatility. Whether you need a low flame for precise tasks or a higher flame for quicker lighting, the control is easy to use and responsive. 6. **Fuel Window:** The **fuel level window** is a helpful feature that lets you see when it’s time for a refill, avoiding the frustration of running out of fuel unexpectedly. This little detail makes the lighter more convenient to use. 7. **Great Value:** For a **two-pack**, this product is excellent value for money. The price is very reasonable for the quality and features you get, especially when compared to other jet lighters in the market. ### **Cons:** 1. **Butane Not Included:** While the lighters are refillable, they don’t come with butane gas, so you’ll need to purchase that separately. It’s a minor inconvenience, but something to keep in mind if you don’t have any at home. 2. **Size:** The lighters are a bit larger than a standard lighter due to the triple jet flame feature. While this adds power, they might be a bit bulky for some users who prefer something more compact for everyday carry. ### **Final Verdict:** The **Urgrette 2 Pack Torch Lighter** with triple jet flames is a powerful, reliable, and well-made product. Whether you're lighting cigars, starting a campfire, or just need a dependable lighter for outdoor use, these lighters won’t let you down. They’re durable, windproof, and come with adjustable flames for flexibility. The two-pack offers excellent value for the price, and the refillable feature makes them a long-term solution. Highly recommended for anyone in need of a solid, versatile torch lighter!
