European reissue. Review: Mosely? - Obviously, Mike Patton is one of the very best vocalists out there. But judge this album on its own merits and not by comparing Mosely to Patton. Mosely clearly isn't a very good singer in terms of skill or talent. But his vocals on this album somehow work although they really shouldn't. On this album, the band has developed its unique combination of pop/rock/funk/metal that would see itself on the next Faith No More album, the much acclaimed "The Real Thing". Mosely's lethargic vocals are mostly at odds with the rest of the music. But it still works, as he emits a new wave/punk vibe which makes things surprisingly connect. There are great songs on this album and this should certainly be part of any Faith No More fan's collection. It will appeal in particular to anyone who appreciates that intangible, fun late '80s vibe. All this while the album is generally steeped in a dark, brooding mood which shifts between the foreground and the background. Review: Solid Introduction to FNM Before Mike Patton - I've gone through audio cassette, CD, CD and yet another CD of this album in my collection through the years. IT's nice to finally have a vinyl. The sound is much better on 180g than any digital version. Chuck Mossey's vocals sound better and Jim Martin's guitar sounds give you a better appreciation for his talents early on. For any real fan, this is a must add to the collection.

It's a great album, back when it was Chuck Mosley on the vocals instead of Mike Patton. From their opening number "Faster Disco" to their MTV hit "We Care A Lot", Faith No More introduced themselves to the musical public that weren't ready for them yet. Although it'll be their second album "The Real Thing" (with Mike Patton on the vocals) that would thrust this band into the mainstream spotlight, "Introduce Yourself" is an album that is worth checking out.

I first purchased this disc in 1991, shortly after I was introduced to the band with The Real Thing album. I instantly fell in love with the record as I had with The Real Thing. I also own this on cassette and LP. Favorite songs are "Chinese Arithmetic", "R N' R", and "Blood". If you love FNM and are only familiar with their material from the Patton-era, this is a good place to start when becoming acquainted with their earlier material.

Great Album
This is a fantastic album. Featuring Chuck Mosely on vocals. Unique, strange, fun, and ahead of it's time. Had to buy it again after ruining/losing my first two copies, I've been enjoying this album for over twenty years now. Highly recommended.

Love the album, I really just bough it so I could have Chuck Mosley sign it on his current little tour... which he did, awesome little keepsake

Awesome!
Awesome, as usual! Faith No More seems to never disappoint me. I guess I was not gorging on music when this album came out. I'm glad I have it in my collection now.

Consigliato a chiunque ascolti musica rock. Ok la consegna di Amazon

Not quite as good as Angel Dust in my opinion, but to me Introduce Yourself is much better than The Real Thing, and anything they did after Dust. The Chuck era of Faith No More definitely needs more love. Best tracks IMO are Chinese Arithmetic, the updated version of We Care A Lot, The Crab Song, and Spirit. I can't say there's a bad track on this record, though.
