Let me start by saying that I really dislike overpowering candle scents so I don’t normally take a leap of faith…but so happy I did! The scent of the Christmas candle is clean, subtle, delicate and makes my house smell like I have a real tree. I am so pleased that I ordered 6 more and sent them as gifts. I am not much of a candle person but I love this candle's scent and the price point for this candle is very reasonable. I discovered this candle at a pie shop. After buying it I purchased 2 more via Amazon as gifts for my daughters. They are equally as happy with the mulled cider soy candle as I am..... and they ARE candle people!

As soon as September hits, I'm getting my house ready for the fall: I'm busting out the fall-scented cleaning supplies, soaps, air fresheners, and candles! I saw the Sweet Water Decor 'Flannel' candle and was intrigued by what kind of scent flannel would be. 🍁PACKAGING: The candle arrived in a small cardboard box secured with bubble wrap. The candle arrived safely and free of damage. 🍁APPEARANCE & DESIGN: This candle is unique because it is in a stoneware jar instead of a glass jar like I'm use to seeing. That was the first thing that I really liked about this candle. The majority black stoneware jar with a neutral base is simple, chic & rustic. To me, this is a candle that could fit into anyone's home regardless of their personal decorating style. 🍁SCENT: The very first note that I picked up on with this candle is the smokey fireside scent. That is the most prominent note to me. I can also pick up on the vanilla scent, but its more subtle to me and is almost a smokey vanilla scent. I can pick up on some muskey, woodsy, cinnamon notes. This literally reminds me of a chilly autumn night spent at a fireside. While the scent isn't overly masculine, it reminds me of a slightly 'manly' scent- not a cologne smell but more muskey and woodsy. I think this is a scen that would appeal to anyone. The scent is strong without being overwhelming. I can light it in the kitchen and smell it throughout the kitchen & dining area. This is a scent that really appeals to me and makes me think of an autumn bonfire. 🍁SPECIFICS: This is a 12oz candle with approximately 60 hrs of burn time per the manufacturer. The manufacturer recommends burning the candle for no more than four hrs at a time. 🍁 This item is listed at $27.99 at the time of this review. For a nice quality candle such as this, I think this price is about average. Initially, I did find almost $30 for a 12 oz candle to be a bit overpriced, but this is a nice quality candle with the perfect autumn scent that arrives in a beautiful rustic stoneware glass jar. Those things considered, I think that justifies the cost. This, in my opinion, is one of the better fall scents. I'm not crazy about cinnamon and it seems Iike most fall candles feature cinnamon as one of the more prominent notes. I prefer this smokey, woodsy fall scent. Because of the scent, appearance, and quality I would recommend this candle & company. I think this candle would make an excellent gift.

This item arrived very quickly, and was packaged great with no damage. When I received this in the mail, I could smell it through the packaging. It smells like heaven. I am in love with this scent, and I want my whole house to smell like this all the time. I did put it on the warmer for a couple hours and my entire living room, dining room and kitchen smelled like this scent within about 20 minutes(approximately a 650 square-foot area). And the scent lasted for a long time, at least a few hours. This candle is in a ceramic jar with the bottom, looks like unfinished clay, it does have rubber feet on the bottom of the jar, so it will not scratch your furniture, and the top half of the jar is glazed in a black matte color. It looks very nice. After the candle is gone, I will be able to use this jar for something else and I always like that. This most definitely is a great scent. This candle is 3 1/2 inches wide and 4 inches tall. I would use this scent from the beginning of fall all the way through winter. It is not overbearing, but it is strong, but not like a man who has put on extremely too much cologne. This is a good strong. If anyone were considering buying this candle, I would highly recommend it. This candle, but also make an excellent gift. I highly recommend this candle scent, I know I will be getting a lot more of these.
