STILL THE BEST!
Always reliable no matter what surface it is applied to. The latex water based metallic finishes will grow mold. Yuk, useless. I have used this product for many uses over years and it is still the best.

The best way to make anything look metallic
The BEST product for gilding! Great rich metallic color that doesn't fade or dull with time. I love rub-n-buff for crafts and costuming

This is an easy great way to add metallic decorative appearance
Surprised how easy to apply, follow instructions, and rub to set the tube isn't very big, but it really does go a long way. I applied a second coat, but I think it one coat would be just fine. Looks more realistic than any paint.

Antique Gold Is More Copper
I ordered pewter and antique gold and the only reason this isn’t five stars is because the antique gold didn’t quite turn out like I wanted it to. I’ve used this for years on all sorts of projects. It never disappoints. I will say that the antique gold color comes out very coppery, which I have been able to use for things just not what it was intended for.

very disappointing- using a LOT made very little difference
i used the color "autumn gold", which, from the picture, looked like it would be dark enough. it wasn't. i had to use TONS of this stuff to tone it down at all. very disappointed in the results, but everyone said this was the best, including google. disappointing
