VEVOR Trench Drain System with Plastic Grate, 5.9x5.1-Inch HDPE Channel Drainage for Garden, Driveway - 6 Pack

Seems to be sturdy, the drain basin itself is smooth and continuous, nothing to complain about with the casting. Seems its meant for 3" to fit inside the bottom outlet but I was able to fit a 4" HDPE triple wall pipe to the outside of the bottom outlet with a little bit of trimming of the webbing, then scuffed, glued and drain taped it to the bottom of the basin. There are intervals along each section where it can be trimmed down some if needed, the end caps can either slide into the interlocking sections or be press fit into the other side. Ended up scuffing all the connection points really well and gluing with loctite PL 8x construction adhesive. Its only a mechanical bond - not chemical, SCUFF WELL! You can also mist it with a bit of water to help curing. You may be able to find specialty glues for HDPE also, but this holds it together well enough so that it doesn't shift as much when getting it positioned/concreted in. I also recommend staggering the grate if possible (both the grate and the basin pieces can be cut) so that it spans across the connection points - this helps keep things a little more rigid. A few end caps went missing in shipping but VEVOR customer support was more than happy to quickly replace them at no expense to me, just had to provide them with my amazon order number and it was a very smooth process.

I needed a trench drain and the price was too good to beat. Bought these and they sat while I waited to get started on my drain project. Ended up not needing them for the original project but still useful and the remaining can be used down the line for swapping different drains out. It comes with 6 end caps but no other adapters. I bought an NDS but it is a little small for this drain. A little sealant and glue can fix that though. Great product!

Bought these to install across our front walkway to keep the water from brushing to the door. They are well-made and they seem very durable. Hoping they last for many years!

Durable strong well made and easy to connect trench drain. Only issue was no fitting to attach pipe at end of drain. Designed to attach on side or bottom as in picture on amazon. I had to modify one of the end caps that came with these to attach drain pipe at the end of drain. Not the end of the world, but would be nice to include at least one fitting to attach drain pipe (corrugated whatever) to the end of the trench drain

The holes on the bottom require a 3 inch street elbow that fits perfectly to the cut out . Forget about trying to hook up a pipe to the ends because the end caps have no cutouts and are super thin . The whole drain needs to be cemented in the ground on the sides and bottom so there’s no movement at all . 4 inches minimum. And like all of these plastic type drains are made from HDPE and nothing really sticks to it . I’m still installing mine . Ran into root city and many sprinkler lines and electrical lines. So it’s been slow going . When I’m done I’ll show some pictures showing the process . So far no real complaints. The structure feels strong.

Sturdy. Works well. I like that there is a drain area on side and on the bottom. Connecting them is a pain in the rear and getting them to be a snug fit is frustrating. Looks nice when all put together. Punching a hole out is a lot harder than you’d think. And getting a connection has to be just put together with random pieces “to just make it work.” No easy way to T them together. I was hoping to T them together, but honestly would be more frustrating than anything else. I’m pretty handy, but I wouldn’t want to put them together and have it leak all underneath it. I had dug out initially to T them together, but it would not have worked in any way without it being too janky.

These drains come with non standard drain holes. 2.1 or 3.1 inches. This means no standard drain pipes will fit. Completely unusable.
