I paid for this item ... did not receive it free on a promotion.The back of this cover is a bit slick however perimeter has good grip. It showed up looking just like the photo in the ad. Corners are not as 'protective' as some other more bulky cases however I was wanting a thin case as the Note 8 is already a very large phone. Tried a name-brand more protective case first and took it back to Verizon as it made the phone, for me, unacceptably larger. Also, used the Olixar 0.3 mm thick Note 8 tempered glass screen protector from Amazon and it works perfectly with this case. To repeat, this case may not be as thick/protective as some other cases but I'm willing to trade that off for keeping my Note 8 as thin as possible. Anyway, have Square Trade insurance so if back and/or screen breaks it's a $99.00 deductible.

By far the best cellphone case I've ever purchased - for any phone I've owned. Not only does this provide great protection for the back and sides, it is actually thin enough to not distort the beautiful design of the Note8. Great craftsmanship...I will stick with this brand from now on whenever possible for my case needs.

Not sure how well this case will protect my Note8 and I hope to never found out! But it looks good and feels good. Would buy again

The edges are flimsy and will fold in. For being the best phone on the market it's kind of crazy that we don't have better case options.

Great case. It protected my phone after two accidental drops.I love the "metallic brush" finish of the back.

I love this case and it fits like a glove. Just wish it had a kick stand.

Just received the case and already like it much more than prior one. It is thin and smooth so it works well with slacks going 8n and out of pockets. Also looks really nice and professional. Haven't dropped it yet to test that out, hopefully I never do. Would recommend.
