This heat mat works great for seed starting. I’ve got dwarf Schefflera seeds and Christmas cactus seeds germinating now. Already sprouted asparagus fern seeds.

May not have a temp control, but works really good. Sprouted my seeds in 18 hours. But prepare yourself a sprouting container with tape to seal out the light.

Good product. Purchased for my wife who is starting plants from seeds. She says the heat has helped them grow 2-3 times faster, even in an indoor environment. Check the dimensions carefully. You may wish to buy two for large trays. The mats are warm, not hot, which is what you want.

It seems to get too hot and killed my cat grass plants. But I think if I create some distance from the pad with a couple clay bottoms I think i will find a solution to that..

It's a nice heat pad. I have had this for years, and after rolling it up time and time again, it still works! The germination rates are fantastic compared to putting your seeds by the fridge or something. If you're looking for a high-quality heat pad, then you've found it.

Works as it should, storage bag is a plus.

Pretty long but not wide at all. I used to to keep my pacman frog warm as a tiny baby. Ill save it to help hatch silkworms next.
