I had thought about getting a hand grinder, I wanted something that could handle fine grinds as well as coarser grinds, depending on what I want to use to brew my coffee. I only grind 20-30gr at a time and this is perfect for that. I found it easy to adjust and the grind was pretty consistent.. I don't drink french press often so I have not needed to go that coarse. Takes a little bit longer than expected, but reminds me to slow down and enjoy the present.

My only complaint is that I need to keep re-adjusting the black adjustment knob after each use, as it slowly works its way down (or open - however you want to look at it). I will be keeping it as my 'backup' one.

I had an electric blade grinder before but the motor was damaged after a few months. So I decided to go for a manual one and found this within my price range. So far it did a decent job, grinds are even and easy to set up.

Just not what I expected. Instructions are not adequate when trying to figure out how to put spices in, the video doesn't show anything as far as setting it up other than people enjoying the end result. Just flimsy and not easy to operate .... it's cheap so not out a lot of money but wasted some time, will purchase another grinder that's motorized and spend a little more as this one doesn't do what I was hoping with the ease of use we expect now days.

It broke within a month :( I even took it apart and tried to figure out what was wrong, but the grinder is slipping and not grinding the beans.

It's an excellent manual grinder for a single serve coffee.
