Tough little knife
I’ve had this for years and still works great.

Good, not great
Smaller than I expected. Considering that this is a smaller knife, it is stiff to deploy. Handle edges seem a little sharp. I wish they were more "rounded". Blade is plenty sharp. Light weight.I own about 20 knives similar to this one (size, $, functionality, comfort). I'd consider this one about average. CRKT Shenanigan leads the pack.

Been carrying my CRKT M16 everywhere for months, and it's fantastic!
This knife is perfect for everyday use. It's on the smaller side, which makes it ideal for carrying in your pocket without feeling bulky. While a larger knife might be better suited for construction work, the M16 tackles most everyday cutting tasks with ease. One of the things that drew me to this knife was the incredible value. For the price, you're getting a high-quality CRKT blade with their ingenious features like the flipper and secure locking mechanism. The flipper deployment is smooth and effortless, and it doubles as a finger guard when the blade is open. I also like that it has a safety button for added security.Speaking of size, I wasn't sure at first if it would be big enough. But even at its sub-5-inch size, it feels great in my hand and the blade is plenty long for daily use. Plus, it's lightweight and thin enough to comfortably carry in dress slacks, even in the coin pocket. The blade itself is fantastic. It came razor-sharp out of the box and has held its edge well for months of use. The tanto point is a great choice for everyday tasks and some reviewers even mentioned its potential for self-defense situations, although that's not why I bought it. The double-beveled blade is easy to sharpen too, which is a plus. The only knock I have on this knife is the steel. While the 440C stainless steel is good, some higher-end steels might hold an edge a bit better. But honestly, for the price and how easy it is to sharpen, it's a minor complaint.Overall, I'm incredibly happy with my CRKT M16.

pocket knife
This is a great pocket knife. Larger crickets would be better suited for more industrial jobs or anything that needs a larger blade, so as a warning "only buy if you are using as a carry or small office knife." I love this knife, mainly because of the value. The bang for your buck ratio is great because you get some of crickets patented technology, but in a smaller form factor and low price. I have used this knife for many months and haven't needed to sharpen it, but I might sharpen it soon just to keep up the maintenance. It has multiple uses, but I heeded that warning at the beginning because I've have some friends buy this and be disappointed because it wasn't what they thought. This is great for everyday use and definitely being able to cut anything in daily society, but if you hunt or work in construction or contracting, I would recommend a larger knife; my friends bought bigger ones and were much happier. Although, if you can deal with the size, this can be used in most ways, it's just not ideal.Quality and Value-This is just too true for this knife. All crickets are high quality, they are the BMW of knives and I've never had one break (even after questionable uses). Then the value is amazing here on amazon. This knife is $50, and they sell it for $23! Then you have the fact that it comes with the tango tip, the true hilt lock, and the flipper nub. If you check their website, most of those knives with similar systems are going for $100 or more. So to have a smaller form, same technology, and only be $20 or so, that is just unprecedented value. The flipper is used to shoot the blade of like a switch blade. Then, when open, the flipper acts as a finger guard. I also like that this one only has one flipper rather than two as on bigger knives, it seemed to be unnecessary in this size. The blade with not go dual for what seems like years, and the handle fits pretty well in the hand for a sub-5" knife. In conclusion, this is the perfect knife for anyone who would like a smaller form with amazing features. Basically, if you are in the market for a poket knife, congrats because you've found it, now enjoy the rest of your day. It will last a lifetime, cost $23, you will never need another knife, and this knife wants to be used so be ready to do some cutting. People who buy something and then keep buying more should avoid this, wait until you've bought 15 other knives and then buy this one, you'll notice that you've stopped wasting money on knives. Buy it if this is the last knife you have to buy, or just want a really good pocket knife.

Ended up returning this knife.
something about this knife felt off in my hands. Maybe it just didn't fit my "vibe", but the blade deployment felt clunky and awkward. The locking mechanism was also a little sticky.
