Great minimalist arm band, confusing sizes
Here's the deal: the confusion surrounding the sizing of this band is insane. I sat on buying this for a few days because I couldn't get a clear answer on what size I needed; My upper arm is 12". The size chart photo shows that to be a Medium. Great! But wait, the seller responded to someone's comment saying 12" needs a large. OK. Then someone else with a 12" arm says they went medium, and they along with 20 other reviewers say to order a size down from what you think you need. What?My arm measures as follows: 12" above the bicep, 13" (and growing, baby!) at the center of the bicep, and 11" below the bicep. You don't want this band right up in your armpit, and you don't want it chafing your inner-elbow, so that area surrounding the bicep is the sweet spot.So based on that 12-13" measurment I ordered a Medium per the size chart image, which the seller tells me is THE correct way to judge. The band arrived 2 hours before I was set to run a public 5k race, so it got an immediate test drive. Firstly, the material feels great, it isn't itchy or uncomfortable but it DOES soak up sweat and B.O. like nobody's business, so be ready for a lot of washing. However, the actual issue came when within a couple minutes my arm was feeling tingly and like it was falling asleep. The band wasn't uncomfortably TIGHT, just snug enough to cut off blood. My phone is a Samsung Galaxy Alpha, which is thinner than all newer models of Galaxy and iPhone, so it's not as if the bulk was pressing into my arm.So I contacted the seller afterwards and explained my issue, and ended up with a Large in my hands a few days later. I believe the Large is supposed to start at about 13.75", but it just seemed like the Medium was too snug to be comfortable or good for my circulation. You'll see in my photo that the Large is a full inch wider than the Medium (1/2" when laid flat), and that's where *I* am running into trouble: having run with the large now it's clear that it's just slightly too BIG. If the large was literally a half inch bigger than the Med rather than a full inch then it would be perfect. So with my current 12-13-11 arms, I'm in a grey area. Luckily my goal is to beef up a little, so I'm hoping that in a couple months the Large will fit me just right. Regardless, it's still disappointing that I can't really comfortably use either size now.The seller is well deserving of 5 stars; their customer service and followthrough is outstanding, and they make a great product. Yes, I would be a lot happier if that Large was a half-inch smaller, but the reality is this arm band has no straps or pullstrings or anything: it's not designed to be customized in that way. So yes, a little disappointed in that sizing no man's land, and I'd be interested to know if the same 1" gap exists between the Small and Medium. Just be aware of your exact arm measurments, trust the size chart over the wildly-fluctuating reviews (except for mine of course, I always speak the truth whereas the statue across from me always lies), and buy with confidence knowing that the seller will 100% work with you to make things right if in fact you are unhappy or run into similar size problems.

Great product and customer service
Most of what I have to say has been said already, so I'll just highlight a few brief points. For reference, my measurements (mid-bicep) are:Small arm, unflexed: 11.5"Big arm, flexed: 14"Phone: Samsung Note 8, with basic TPU casePer the sizing recommendations on the product page at the time, I was in the range of a Large arm band, based on my arm/phone sizes, so that's what I ordered. The Large felt good when I first tried it on, but slid down into my elbow when I started running.I contacted E Tronic Edge customer service by email, and they immediately responded and sent a Medium arm band. We've had several email exchanges, and their communication has been excellent. The Medium is snug, but it works much better while running. If I could wave my magic wand, I'd make it a *little* bigger around, but I'm not complaining.Note that the replacement band is longer than the original; see photo. Per customer service, they're making all of the sizes longer now, based on customer feedback. I just wanted to clarify that the difference in length isn't due to the nominal size (L vs M), but rather the iteration of the product (old vs new).Overall, this arm band works well. I like it better than my old one, which had a velcro strap and plastic window so you could ostensibly access your phone's touch screen (which never worked well in practice). This fits my large phone better, and is more comfortable, both because of the design and the soft material. That said, strapping a heavy phone to your arm and making it stay put comfortably while hopping up-and-down for miles on end is a difficult problem to solve. Add to that the fact that our shoulders are bigger than our elbows, and you have a recipe for things sliding down your arm as you run. Even this great arm band slides down some on bare skin (and more so over a shirt). Maybe some silicone nubs inside would help? Thicker fabric? I don't know. It's not perfect, but it's definitely beats the other arm bands, belts, hydration packs, clothing pockets, etc. that I've tried. I think the real solution for me is to ditch my phone altogether and get a GPS fitness band. If you have to carry a phone (and key), though, this is a good solution.

Terrific arm sleeve (and company). Running needs solved!
I run an average of 50 miles a week and have been through a handful of cell-phone and/or keys carrying devices: a velcro armband, a running pouch, and now this arm sleeve. This arm sleeve is by far the best product I have used. Its simple and secure enough that you put your phone in, along with keys, credit cards, money, transportation pass, etc., and not have to worry about a thing falling out during a run. Its also effective against chafing, which I did not find when I used a velcro armband.Size wise I have a 12" arm and ordered the Large size. After using this for a handful of weeks I noticed the arm sleeve would slide toward my elbow, which having to readjust numerous times on a run caused a great annoyance. I read the reviews here and thought by emailing customer service with what I've experienced despite having numerous weeks to try the product, they would see my point and allow for an exchange. Not only was this company willing to send me a new arm sleeve (size Medium this time), they insisted I keep the old arm sleeve and give to a friend. What a cool company!Recently I ran a marathon with this arm sleeve (Medium size). Not once did I have to stop and readjust my armband. It stayed in place the entire time without any indications of chafing or discomfort. For this and how the company stands by their products I cannot justify more ordering an arm sleeve from them.My advice - order a size 1" smaller than an arm. Since my arm is 12" and technically I fall under Large, the Medium size turned out to be ideal :)
