I've ordered this ghee several times. Packaging good quality of ghee is very good if you like the type of ghee strained well, which I do! Packaging could be better . Fell into carpeted floor from 12 inch height and lid popped off. typically I push lid on very tightly however can was received in dented shap and this affects how tight the lid can actually seal. Be aware and make informed choice how to proceed.

Excellent authentic ghee made by traditional Indian clay pot method from pure hand drawn milk and solar heat and slow gravity sedimentation. Essentially a crude sedimentation crack of butter, with only trace tiny amounts of hydrated milk solids and sugars. So no microorganisms or fermentation ( unlike cheese), but still mild buttery taste and smell and long shelf life like olive oil.

Patanjali ghee is very fresh and delicious. I use ghee for puja and for cooking &eating. It is very tasty. Good product but the metal container smells like perfume or soap. I keep getting it my mouth and it's like spraying floral perfume in my mouth.

I only received the product on July 16, the GHEE BUTTER is not of good quality. The oil smells sour and not fresh, the smell of old butter. I'm upset, I asked Amazon to refund my money, it's impossible to eat…… 😒
