Aquarium Fish Tank Snail Treatment Esha Gastropex 10ml ** Pack Of Three**

I had quite a bad problem in one of my tanks with very small snails that reproduced almost in front of my eyes! This helped reduce the number noticeably after 1 treatment. It didn't eradicate them or the eggs and I have had to repeat the treatment several times. I still have problem but much reduced and I have to use it as a management control now. I hate having to use too many chemicals though. I use it as a plant bath before planting of new plants. I use a slightly stronger dose, leave them for 24 hours and then rinse and plant. This has helped keep my other tanks snail free. Recommend

Suite à l'achat de nouvelles plantes aquatiques chez un revendeur local ..L'aquarium a été subitement contaminé par une armée d'escargots qui chaque jour se démultipliaient par cinquantaine.Malgré un respect scrupuleux du dosage d'après la notice du fabricant, pour un aquarium de 210 litres d'eau...la bouteille y est passée totalement .Rien n'y à fait, au bout de plusieurs jours de traitement, ils y en avaient toujours, mais moins...La solution radicale a été de les retirer chaque jour un à un....L'efficacité semblait être plus flagrante ainsi !!!...Attention, à bien vérifier les filtres de pompes, car les œufs s'y étaient installés également...En conclusion, je dirai que ce produit peut être dangereux, car un nettoyeur n'y a pas survécu, mais on ne peut être sûr à 100 % que cela en soit la cause.Mais pour ce qui est de son efficacité, vu les circonstances, mon avis est plus que mitigé !!!..

This is easy to use. I'm just waiting for it to work completely, at the moment I've seen a small reduction in them.

I decided to move my Discus into a different tank that had MTS in there. The tank was stripped down, substrate removed and then refilled with de-chlorinated water after I did the first dosing. Removed lots of dead snails. Followed the directions to the letter, at the end of the course there were no living snails left. The tank was emptied again of water, all visible snails removed using a brush and a dustpan, it is a large tank.The tank was left empty/dry for 1 week before setting it up for the fish. It has been running for 3 weeks now after refilling and no snails to be seen.In my opinion a product worth the money.

I added 50% to the dosage, don’t do this until trying the recommended dose first, and after 10 days I think the snails have expired.I had hundreds of tiny ones, no sign of and adult for months, I’m not sure where they are being produced!
