Honeywell32003796001 Visionpro 8000 Series Wall Plate

Thank you AMAZON, again., you came through., as always. I bought a Honeywell Thermostat at a local hardware store and when I went to install it I had a 3 or 4" space around the thermostat that made it look so bad. I went back to the store and they said they do not carry these covers. So I called Honeywell and the part # they gave me wasn't the correct one. I went on Google to find a cover plate for the Honeywell thermostat and Amazon was the cheapest even with the shipping., so thanks Again Amazon., I cannot wait till I receive it., I measured the amount that I would need to cover my area and it will fit perfectly.

I was looking for a plate Honeywell #193121A. Wall plate received was much too big and 1 slot would have been visible on the outside.after the thermostat installation. They probably described the proper size of the plate. Delivery to Canada was fast. Probably my fault? Threw it away.

This is good for a large spot you want covered. I noted measurements before buying, but it's still larger than I pictured. In my opinion the screw holes are badly spaced so they will show beyond the Honeywell RTH6350 and the RTH2300B1012/A Programmable thermostats I purchased, when they are installed. This item will be returned. I will dig out the paint to touch up around the thermostats instead.

When it arrived I wasn't sure I would really need it. The new thermostat was a little bigger than I had estimated but because of the placement of the screw holes I would have had to either repainte or ignore the strip that showed. This plate solved that problem very nicely. It is a bit over priced but cheaper and easier than re painting.

Its style, shape, material and finish make this wall plate look so well integrated to the thermostat that you'll wonder why it's not being included right in the very thermostat package; if you bought this thermostat, chances are that you were replacing an old, bigger one, so you'd likely had to deal with an ugly stained or unpainted patch of wall that modern and smaller thermostats can't fully cover. Anyway, for Visionpro 8000 series thermostats, this wall plate is the way to go

When our old thermostat broke we brought home a new one only to realize that the hole in the wall wasn't completely covered thanks to the smaller size of today's model thermostats. None in the store were anywhere close to the footprint of our old thermostat so when i found this wall plate on Amazon I jumped at the chance to deal with the hole in the wall. It worked great and now there isn't a hole. YAY!Just fyi: We bought the honeywell RTH2300B1012/E1 thermostat and if turned horizontally this plate works perfectly!
