A one of a kind pendant featuring a real antique Roman bronze coin - It is approximately 2000 years old. Herod Agrippa I was the grandson of Herod the Great. He was the king of Judea in the first half of the 1st century AD. Agrippa spent much of his boyhood at the imperial court in Rome. His friend the emperor Caligula bestowed the former territories of his uncle Philip and Herod Antipas. He was a very popular ruler. ♦ This bronze coin was minted in the sixth year of Herod Agrippa's reign (41\42 AD). ♦ One side of coin depicts three heads of wheat, reverse depicts an umbrella/ parasol - canopy with fringes and "King Agrippa" in Greek letters. ♦ Very Good quality coin with many visible details and a beautiful desert brown patina. ** Including a Certificate of Authenticity from an Authorized antiquities dealer** ♦ The coin is set in a 24K gold plated over Sterling silver bezel with an elegant bale.
