Looks good what an eye popper

You know when you like something but aren’t sure how it’ll look in your house? I LOVED this clock from jump but wasn’t sure how it’d look on my wall w/ my stuff. I bought this clock a WHILE ago waiting for inspiration for the right wall. I was originally gonna put it on my exposed red brick wall in the family room but I spend all my time in my man cave (casita) & figured it belonged in there so I could enjoy it. It is, after all, where I’m at most when I need the time. I’m mad at myself for waiting months to put it up as I love it even more on my wall. I was a little worried about the install since I’m not exactly jack of all trades but it was truly easy. The hardest part was figuring out where to center it both horizontally & vertically; it’s more of a challenge if you want to make it a big clock like I did where it can easily get too high or too low. After that just follow easy steps...just have to be patient as I def am not. Of course right at the end, & I mean the very last step while adhering the letter “E” (in “TIME”) to the wall, I got sloppy & cracked the exterior mirror on the E. I understood it was my error & my responsibility, but just as a shot in the dark I sent an email to Vangold to see if they might offer a solution. It was after 9pm so I expected it’d be a few days but I got a response STAT saying they were overnighting me a package! Easily the best customer service interaction/experience, EVER. Thank you so much to the kind folks at Vanguard! They didn’t owe me anything, the return window had long closed but they truly wanted me to be happy. That meant a lot to me & as a result of that kindness, I will be visiting their store again soon. As far as the clock goes, it’s such an eye-grabber that exudes such sophistication in the seller’s photos that I guess you could say my main concern was that it was gonna ultimately look like a $30 clock after installing it when it’s in front of me on my wall. That wasn’t the case. As a real estate professional 20+ years I’ll tell you it adds real depth & class to an area, plus it’s just really intriguing. I’ll attach some photos, judge for yourself. It’s only been a few days but it keeps accurate time & I’d highly recommend it (pending it stays that way). It seems so ridiculously underpriced. I’m so happy w/ this purchase, thank you again.

If you are precise and accurate, this comes out really nice. The instructions and “tools” they give to install are amazing though and makes it easy. Precision is key though. Just a thought, I placed this on the higher part of the wall of a 18 foot ceiling and now whenever daylight savings happens, I have to grab my ladder, climb up there and change the time. Or when the batteries die as well. That is annoying. Looks good though!

I really like the look of this clock. The template provided in the box makes the installation pretty simple. The layout in my picture is the smallest diameter the template can be set to. Had to give it 4 stars because the numbers don't stick well to the wall and I had to repeatedly re-stick them. The chrome for the numbers and hour markers is just a thin little stick on piece and when one of the numbers fell off the wall, the chrome covering cracked(see picture). I don't think too many people look close enough to see it, but I still notice it. Also, you need to be careful peeling the backing off of the chrome pieces, or you can accidentally peel off the chrome itself(which I partially did on one number).

this is a terrific purchase, product is exactly as described, arrived in great condition. When sized properly and installed in the right area this is a truly outstanding feature, and tells the time. The clock is relatively quiet and accurate. The price in unbeatable. This requires assembly while the installation, especially the size (the outer radius) is important to consider for your space and impact you want to communicate. I installed mine with a tight radius (the minute hand is 1/4 of an inch away from the numbers and markers; this size worked quite well for me. My advise is to measure out the inner and outer radius so you can have the right effect. Next center and install the clock mechanism and very lightly install the numbers/markers so they can be moved/adjusted to preference. Once you are certain of the radii you can press the numbers on the wall for a permanent fix. Improvements to recommend are on the hands; the gage of the metal should be a bit heavier, and the mounting facility to the clock shaft should also be more robust.

The clock looked just like the picture but only the watch numbers stuck to the wall well. The middle piece fell off the wall and broke only a week after I put it up. Stopped working right away. Will try another brand next time.
