I used this for a solar combiner box for two DC 500v strings using the included DIN rail for two breakers and two lightning arrestors. The box is sturdy, painted well, has a removable standoff plate, removable access plate on the bottom, good and plentiful grounding points, a nice lock and a rain/snow shelf. The only thing I had to add was a ground bus block for my lightning arrestor grounds. This is real value for the money. I might buy another to replace a plastic box I used elsewhere. One thing to note, any conduit entrances will need to be drilled. there are no knockouts. I plan on drilling the large access plate on the bottom for everything.

You get your money’s worth. Nothing flimsy about this enclosure; thick gauge steel and door that closes snug.

This cabinet is solid. Extremely well designed and sturdy. I installed an Auto EV Charger charger inside the cabinet and mounted the cabinet to an outdoor railing up at Big Bear Lake, CA. It will get blasted with rain, freezing rain, ice, and snow, and then hot weather in the summer. I have no doubt that it will hold up year after year.

Good product! Used for protecting my Rivian power cord and outlet does a great job and protects well enough. Good for like use.

The shipping company must have dropped it had a dent in it, it’s a very heavy nice quality product great price, I just pounded the dent out of the bottom plate with a hammer, works great now, wish they would have told me the handles were not attached like shown in pictures

Very Heavy Duty Well Made Steel Enclosure At A Great Price. The top rain guard is separate and seems like it just lays on top, but I fastened down at the sides. I still gave it 5 stars, but it would be nicer if the top rain guard was made of one piece part of the enclosure though.
