TONDA Hydraulic Bottle Jack, 4 Ton Capacity

The Jack was exactly as described and it performed as expected which is to say it did the job I had and did it well.

This jack has served its purpose as my back-up for the last couple years. It's a good jack for the price. I wish it went up a bit higher but what can you ask of a bottle jack? I'm finally writing this review because I accidentally unscrewed the release valve too much and had to change the oil. It's an easy process, but even after I changed the oil and bled the air out it wasn't maintaining position. For some reason, the valve wasn't fully tightening so I had to take a large pair of pliers and tightened it down as tight as I could without it falling over. After I did this, the jack works like new. If your jack is slowly falling down under pressure, it could be the valve isn't tightening all the way, even with a lot of force.

You get what you pay for - it works, but is a bit on the cheap feeling side, especially the two part pump handle. That said, I was able to use it to press a wheel bearing successfully and it worked well at that.

Ok so when I order a new item I expect a new item. Came soaked in gasoline! So much that half of box is wet and directions are unreadable from the damage. Haven't even used the jack yet to evaluate who knows how that will go. Jack has chipped paint around valve and in more places. Bottom is scuffed from sitting on something probably during use. Who knows if it had fluid in it or not.Update: Shockingly, the jack also does not work. Finally went to use it and it would not stay up when loaded. Apparently what I thought was gasoline was in fact hydraulic oil that had leaked out. When I checked the oil level it was almost if not totally gone. So I spent 3 hours running around trying to find hydraulic oil. After putting it in and filling completely, still does exactly the same thing. It will not support anything. RETURNING!!!!

Well built and sturdy. Paint chips off really easy but it’s a jack so not a big deal. Seller is great and would recommend

I got the jack for my 2005 Dodge Dakota that is not lifted. It does not extend as much as I would like with it unscrewed for maximum height. For the front half it is fine, but it does not extend as much as I would like in the back half. If you have a lifted or full size truck, you should probably get something different.
