Suitable for Mariokart 64 Emulation
I bought four of these and all work just fine. I didn't play many games except racing ones. They work well and feel pretty good. I wasn't disappointed. I enjoyed it so much, i just bought an n64 and cartridge any way. They were recognized immediately and just worked on Project 64. Plugged all for in the same port through a powered hub. Off to the races.

Convenient but Flawed
This product is almost perfect. It delivers on being a plug-and-play modern adaption of a classic controller. But both controllers I received have sticky B buttons on day one. It's infrequent enough that it won't disturb casual play, but when speedrunning it is unacceptable (especially on day ONE). If it were not for this button issue, I would give 5 stars and unending praise. But BOTH controllers share this flaw. If the price seems almost too good, this is why.Undoubtedly perfect for casual emulation. Not acceptable for higher play.Reviewed October 2018

Not the best not the worse
D pad is not good on either controllers and one controllers a and b buttons will stick sometimes. Analog stick feels and works great so far with games like Mario 3D world and 3D Land. They sent a replacement for the controller that’s buttons stuck so I have a fully functioning pair

Great reproduction Nintendo 64 USB controllers with minor issues.
The controllers feel exactly like the original I had with my N64 way back in the day. I love them, but I’ll cut straight to the minor issues I have with them.1. The DPAD clicks in the middle like if it were a button. A design change to add a pivot point in the center would have fixed this easily.2. The A and or B buttons sometimes get stuck down. Now this gets me every once in a while and is an issue that needs fixed. I’d be playing a wrestling game where there’s a lot of button mashing or combos and one of those buttons would get stuck at random, easily fixed with getting my nails under them a bit.Otherwise I can’t complain as they’re faithful to the original design wise, at least there is no issue with the analog stick wearing out over time like the original controller.I use them with my Raspberry Pi 3 to play Nintendo 64 games.

D-Pad Does Not Work on Both Controllers, Shoddy Product
D Pad did not work on both controllers. I tend to do a lot of retro gaming, so I like to buy similar controllers to whatever system I'm emulating. I've probably been through 30 or 40 in my lifetime and these are among the worst. Immediately returned them after testing. Don't waste your time or money.

make sure to look at cord
These controllers are not make for the basic Nintendo 64 setup. The cords to connect them are more of a usb. However they work great. Just make sure to read the description! The company is also amazing and do helpful, I am so glad I purchased these through them!

Buy
Works like the real thing. I have three of these and they all work great! Wish Gamecube controller knock offs could be like these. In fact, I'd go so far as to say verisimilitude is top-notch here.

Didn't work as well as expected - using on Raspberry pi 4 retro Setup
Did not have as good control as the cheap normal controls - was disappointed.
