Collectors Be Warned! Amazon Now Uses Barcode Stickers!
I love the figure! The new face scan technology really adds an enhanced level of true-to-likeness to the character and the accessories are spot on as usual. Therefore the figure itself deserves a 5 star rating.BUT... Collectors Be Warned!Even though this figure arrived in a nearly pristine box, which is in and of itself a rarity, Amazon has now suddenly decided to add barcode stickers to certain items, apparently including collectible figures like these! And they are the flimsy paper, "try to remove it and it rips to shreds" type so don't go in thinking that they're going to be easy to remove.Looks like this one will be my open box version after all. Now to find one to keep in collectible, unopened condition elsewhere.Amazon, if you actually do read this, STOP IT! NOW!! Please. Placing stickers of any kind or defacing a collectible package in any way is a "no no" in retailing.

Kylo Ren | The Last Jedi
This is the unmasked Kylo Ren (Ben Solo) from The Last Jedi. He and Rey are my favorite characters from the sequel trilogy, and The Last Jedi was my favorite movie of the trilogy as well. The new Kylo Ren figures from The Rise of Skywalker don't have a removable mask, which is why I chose this one. The Ben Solo/Kylo Ren character is much more interesting to me than the faceless bad guy behind the mask. The detail in his shirt/tunic/sleeves is great, and his shiny boots are spot on! Until I read another review, I didn't realize there was a hilt to attach the un-ignited lightsaber to his belt (pictures for reference). The face isn't quite so handsome as Adam Driver himself, but again, it's better than the mask!My SW fan 6-year-old and I will have fun playing with this. :)

Kylo Ben
I love using Kylo for creating little scenes between him and Rey. He has great articulation, not as stiff as my Rey which is good and bad. It’s good because it took like 10 minutes to move her foot a millimeter, but his feet are so loose that sometimes he has trouble staying in positions that rely on balance. His detailing is great, the face could be better, the eyes could be more detailed specifically, but that’s just me comparing him to the newer models, since this one is from Last Jedi not Rise of Skywalker, like my Rey is. Overall he’s the best Kylo figure imo because he doesn’t have his face hidden and has a large range of motion. He looks a lil like Snape but whatcha gonna do. I recommend this for Star Wars fans.

Pretty solid, but not without flaws.
This is Kylo Ren (Ben Solo) from The Last Jedi. He's is my favorite character from the sequel trilogy, and arguably the most interesting of the new characters. This would be Hasbro's third or fourth attempt at Ren, and I have to say, it's their best so far but it isn't without it's flaws.Pros:Great articulationGreat sculptNon-removable lightsaber blade, and a hilt to attach to belt.Cons:Face sculpt (it's much better than the first unmasked Kylo Ren, but is still not there yet 100%)Plastic cape (It works with figures like Krennic and Lando but I think it's just a missed opportunity to go with cloth goods so you could showcase the articulation)Overall, it's pretty good. Articulation and sculpt are great, I love all the different textures to each piece of clothing, especially on the gambeson and sleeves of his undershirt. Face sculpt is alright, it doesn't exactly look like Adam Driver but it does kind of look like a mixture of Han Solo and Anakin Skywalker so I'm okay with it. The figure can comfortably hold it's lightsaber with one or two hand positions, and the hilt attaches snugly to the belt clip. The blade itself is a great red color, and detailed in a way to make it look unstable as it is in the films. I like the fact that the saber blade isn't removable, it looks much better than the original TFA Kylo with the very strange removable blade. The cape is the biggest disappointment to me. It only fits naturally if he's in a pose with his arms to his sides. Hasbro has proved itself capable of doing cloth goods very well with figures like the 40th Anniversary Darth Vader, I wish they would have given the cape a shot with this figure. Also, I think they missed a perfect opportunity to give us a second masked head, or even a destroyed helmet accessory. I would have gladly taken that over the plastic cape. I'm sure they were a little rushed to get this particular figure out by Force Friday, I wish Disney/Lucasfilm would give Hasbro more time to make the figures being launched for the new movies more perfect. I'm looking forward to getting a Crait version of Luke Skywalker to display with Kylo.

Excellent for the price!.
I bought this when it was about $8.75 & had it shipped to Scotland. When I received the figure I was surprised how good it looked, especially the face!.It has all the usual articulation that no doubt someone will list when reviewing. The figure itself is decent and well worth the price paid but if it had been in the $20range I would have passed so I suppose you really need to like kylo ren or be a black series collector.Another head would have been good like his helmet or crushed helmet but as usual Hasbro like to conpeople into buying multiple versions of the characters all because they have a different or added accessorie.....like his helmet.Anyway,I would recommend but only if you can get it for under $10.

An improvement in likeness but still far from perfect.
The likeness here is a definite improvement over the unmasked TFA Kylo but still doesn't resemble Adam Driver. His scar is very lightly visible. Would have preferred the black bandage over the scar seen early in the film. Articulation is solid. The skirt is soft plastic and does encumber lower extremity positioning. The choice of a plastic cape instead of a cloth one is interesting. Hasbro did such a great job with the last Vader's cape, I feel the inclusion of a cloth cape here would have allowed for better poseability while its on. As it is, he can only stand in a pretty neutral position while the cape is on. The figure gets upgraded a star if you add a quality third party cape.
