A Lifesaver for Our Allergy-Prone Pup!
Purina ONE Lamb and Rice Formula has been an absolute game-changer for our rescue dog, Jake. He has a long list of allergy issues, and after trying so many different foods, this is the only one that truly works for him. No more upset tummy, no more itching—just a happy, healthy pup who actually loves his food!Jake gets so excited at mealtime, and it’s such a relief to know we’re giving him something that’s both safe and delicious. The price is fantastic for the quality, and we love the convenience of the subscription option—it ensures we never run out, which is a huge plus.If your dog has sensitivities or you're just looking for a high-quality, affordable food that dogs genuinely enjoy, I can’t recommend this enough. Thank you, Purina, for keeping our boy healthy and tail-wagging happy!

Dog-Approved and Great for Sensitive Stomachs
My dog absolutely loves this food! The lamb and rice formula is gentle on his stomach and has helped with digestion and coat health. The kibble is the right size, and he eats it up without hesitation. No more itchy skin or upset tummy. It’s also nice knowing it has real meat as the first ingredient. A reliable, affordable choice that delivers quality nutrition.

Best value for a top quality dog food.
When it comes to value, price and weight, you can’t beat the size and amount on Amazon. I feed my dogs this formula and they absolutely love it. I have to fight them from getting to the food container that I keep it in, rather than the bag. I have a scheduled delivery every month with this product.

Grain or no grain?
There is some evidence that some dogs are not doing well on the no-grain diet. I figured rice, as a neutral, usually non-allergenic grain would be ok for my standard poodle and she eats this with no digestive problems. I don't think she likes it as well as a sweet potato-turkey food (probably has a sweeter taste and my dog loves sweets.) So your dog may not accept this. Nor do I like the kibble--it's kind of a flaky shape and not a nugget. So will work for tiny dogs that can't eat big chunks.Seems to be a good food and she is doing well. I'm not sure why 'no-grain' has caused problems. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration thinks there may be a link to canine dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) and certain breeds are more susceptible:RetrieverBoxerChinese Shar-PeiCocker SpanielCollie,DachshundDalmatianLhasa ApsoMiniature SchnauzerSoft Coated Wheaton TerrierSpringer SpanielWest Highland White TerrierIf your dog doesn't show signs of allergy, then single grain may be the way to go; some vets are opposed to grain-free because of the risk of DCM. No one seems to know why some dogs may have gotten sick on grain-free foods; my guess is that the legumes in some recipes ( peas, chickpeas, lentils, soybeans) have hemagglutinins that affect the blood and cause cardiac issues over time. There were some papers years ago about antibodies in heart patients reacting to hemagglutins (back when I was in grad school for immunology in the seventies) so it's possible that cardiomyopathy in dogs has a similar etiology. We'll see.

Delicious!
Originally got theses from Humane Society pantry until I decided to purchase one for my girls daily food. The food quality is nice and color is quite vibrate. My girls love it but at times I like to add some other food topping on top. Overall it’s nice and healthy for my girls since they always eat their food.

Good choice for puppies
Use this for our youngest pup (currently about 9 months) . Small bits, actually smells decent. Our other dog (a 7 year-old lab) eats Hill's Science, and I like the smell of this food much better. The look is more appealing too. Have it set up through Subscribe and Save to come monthly which is great! Always arrives packaged well, never damaged. Store it in container purchased here on Amazon. Dog loves it, so does the cat!

My Doggos Highly Recommend
I had been giving this to my two dogs for years before their age caused me to switch them to the one that specifically helps their joints. This food never left me disappointed. Always great quality and my dogs loved it. I fully believed that it helped keep them healthy and happy.
