Great sound dampening
I've tested it with both several condenser mics, and it behaves very nicely in terms of shielding room reflections. It becomes very dry, with a tendency to also become boomy with a boost in the low end - but this is easily remedied with a bit of eq.My home studio is already somewhat sound dampened, but not nearly enough to create a good dry recording from condenser mics, which tend to pick up all sounds, including the dog snoring two rooms away. The IsoCube is great for sitations like this; and I use it on all my vocal recordings now.

Good if you can't treat your room
This definitely isn't a be all, end all solution, but as someone who can't afford to treat my room since it's way too big, this definitely helped with the reflections I could hear coming into my RODE NT1, it would be 5 stars but to be honest I get the same results I do with me Neewer NW-6. The difference is the amount of space it takes up. Regardless, I'd definitely recommend for any home studio.

A recording artist's best friend
very effective and doesnt take space in your studio. easy to travel with. the noise cancellation and sound isolation is impeccable. before the technical nerds get upset by my choice of words, it keeps background noise outside the recording and only the sound aimed at the mic will be picked up. Dont be concerned about a muffled sound because the material is peforated so frequencies are absorbed (bass) and preserved (mids and highs) very well.

No noticeable effect
I really wanted this to work, at least to some degree, but it made no discernable difference to room reflections. I have a nice acoustically treated studio but I wanted to try something like this over the mic in my office to record quick voice auditions without having to set up all my gear. Even with clearsonic sorber panels behind me and producers choice shound blankets over the door, this mic cover couldnt get an acceptable sound. On the plus side, it fitted the mic (Rode NT1A) perfectly, easy to get on, and didnt muffle the overall sound very much
