Feldherr Maxi Figure Case Compatible with 150 Standard Sized Figures and Tanks or Monster

I'm constantly in the market for army cases since I'm one of those people with no impulse control when it comes to buying up new armies and entering new games if I think something looks cool. This has created a consistent demand for organization in my hobby collection, and I am yet again pleased with Feldherr's offering.This specific case serves as the transport for my entire Chosen Men (by Osprey Games) collection. Before settling with Feldherr, I outlined my wants for a case regarding this collection:- Something that had enough size per each tray that would accommodate one entire army per- Was smooth, had a pocket for the rulebook (which is admittedly thin)- Had a carrying handle beyond just a shoulder strap- AffordableI settled on this case after combing the internet for some time. I had trepidations over the pre-plucked trays since I wasn't sure if it would accommodate my miniatures. Chosen Men takes place during the Napoleonic Wars, which means having a lot of tall pointy bits in the form of bayonets and muskets at the shoulder, plus colors and cannons. Storage can be difficult because of these necessary poses.My simple solution to this was to use a sharp scissor and snip the top of each cell, creating a channel that allowed me to slide the tops of muskets into them. This let models lay flat in their cells and even gave more security due to being snugly fit into the slit. I felt no guilt whatsoever doing this because in the worst case scenario - I decide to use the case for another collection - the slits would be negligible and probably useful for some other models in that event. I was also further pleasantly surprised by the 60mm pluck tray being the exact right dimensions to fit a line of my cavalry abreast and upright, which gives me extremely efficient spatial utility. This tray will act as my collection's "stable," where cavalry for each army is to be stored. Beyond this, construction is solid, they give you a foam topper to protect the topmost tray from the lid of the case, and the handle is well-fitted. Another thing I didn't notice until I had the case physically in my hands was the bottom has feet! No more laying your case flat on the ground! It'll stand on it's own, and this feature will hopefully reduce wear.Overall, yet another hit from Feldherr that is both reasonably priced and elegant. I will be, yet again, a returning customer in the future. I anticipate buying this again sometime later.

I bought the Feldherr Maxi Figure Case Compatible with 150 Standard Sized Figures and Tanks or Monster. As shown in the picture the MIDDLE part of the case is a little larger, allowing for jump pack troops and heroic standing models as shown in my picture (troops holding their swords high). The other slots are standard size and will fit most 25MM base troop. Please note this DOES NOT fit the newer base models as shown in the picture. I have a 25MM base and a 32 MM base, which shows one fitting snug and the other protruding out. The case also have a zipper slot for books on the outside, This fit one my kill team books and my codex.Please note: All models in the picture are OLDER METAL sister of battle models and not the new ones, there is no plastic which means no bending of the models. The image of the two bases is one of a OLDER base at 25MM and the other is from the NEW plastic sister of battle set which is 32MM.I would not recommend using for 32MM base models or trying to fit Newer Primaris Space Marines in here.

Overall I am happy with this product. The bag, handle, and strap are good quality. I would make sure to have this on top of the luggage pile if you are traveling, as the soft-shell casing wouldn't stand up to much weight on top.Also, as you can see in the picture, the individual compartments are on the small side. They fit 25mm scale just fine, but most of those in the picture are 28mm bones, which are flexible plastic, and I had to squeeze a lot of them in.If you have resin or other solid, brittle figures with a lot of bits that stick out, like swords, spears, or spikes, this may not be the best option.

I've been wargaming and roleplaying with miniatures for thirty years and Feldherr has consistently produced my best transport cases. There are nicer ones, but you don't get much more for your money. There are cheaper ones, but they are much worse for not much less money.I bought this particular case to transport Battletech miniatures (my second favorite game after Crossfire) and it works great. The case is soft, so it won't protect your littel pewter heroes from some goober sitting on the case or some such, but they will absolutely keep them safe and avoid scratches, chips, and bending under normal use.The short version - if (1) you aren't going to commit to a magnet-based solution and (2) you don't need or don't want to pay for a hard-shell case, then Feldherr's products should be your go-to choice. I don't even want to think about the cost of my collection but I trust it to this company's cases.

It easily holds enough for a 2000pt army of 40k, and is very light and compact at the same time, when compared to the citadel hardshell cases. Lastly, the style is more discreet and nobody gives you weird looks when you are walking around with it. I highly recommend it!

Absolutely a quality case. I got it just for storage but it’s a stylish case ideal for going to gaming events with. Can fit a few larger items in the cut out compartment at the bottom.
