Absolute MM100 Pair RCA Couplers Connector Male to Male

Some people wrote bad reviews & I was worried specially for my time.My order arrived on time, as always, (good job Amazon.com), and I quickly opened the packet. To my surprise the 2 connectors were brandnew, good quality & no means whatsoever; as some reviewers had indicated. INext came the real test: in circuit behavior. I do Pyrography; as one of my mediums in art, & need heavy current like 5 to 20+ amps. As those reviews were in my mind I was expecting these tiny connectors would fall me for sure.Real test: I connected my Pyrography pen using the RCA male to male adaptor, waited, then switched the Burner ON. Kept two fingers on the connector, increased current: 5 amps, 10 amps, all okay & still the connector was cool. After about 20 minutes I learned the current to around 15 + amps,my pen top was red hot & working. Yes at this current; it was obvious, the connector was quite warm but not HOT!The connector seen through with flying colors. I am happy I did not care for those negative reviews as I was going to order those expensive: $ 20+, shiny ones. I would recommend theseMale to Male RCA connectors/adaptors as they are very cheap & do the job well.

There are many time you have two female connections and just need a male to male adapter. These are a decent choice and will certainly pass and an acceptable choice for everyday use. As some other reviews have stated there was a little corrosion on the product I received. It's nothing to major and a little rubbing alcohol and work cleaned them up pretty good. At this price point you're not going to get a gold connector so this is always a possibility but is more due to storage conditions than defect.My experience has been a clear signal between my source and speakers so I have no real complaints. It has to be 4 stars though because like I said, it isn't a gold contact, so it does have the slightest room for improvement. If you just need a cheap adapter though, I'd recommend these.

Male-male RCA couplings. Not a whole lot of call for them but when I found these they solved my issue. When I opened the bag and slid these little nuggets out onto the palm of my hand I felt like a pirate. Why? They looked like someone salvaged them from the watery deep. I like to think Ballard himself, hunched over the controls of his submersible, sweat seeping slowly down a butt-crack, gently worked these out from under the Hope diamond in the wreck of the Titanic. I mean they don't smell like the ocean but if you look close... Lets just say I had a hankering for some Krusty Krab. Look these things were cheap, like slave labor cheap. It is just a male/male RCA so you can't screw it up. For that price I will wipe Nemo's poop off with a smile. Wipe-wipe with some scotch brite and you are in like Errol Flynn. I say fire up the suction dredge and go plunder the sea bed for more. I think the Lusitania was hauling some DMX cables...

Really, what more can you ask for with such a simple product. Ok, so the rubbery housing was a little bit of a nuisance as it is wider than it needs to be and gets in the way if your plugs need to be too close together. Also, they came pre-tarnished in the box. It was like they had been sitting in a non-climate-controlled warehouse for too long. But hey! They work!

well say what you want, they workno they don't look pretty and yes they are tarnishedbut really do you buy these to show offyou buy them to run a audio sourceand that is what they do and they do it well

I needed a sex change. These couplers made a nice couple so I hated to break them up. I took one and I did the sex change operation and quickly went from a female connection to a male connection. Just what I needed. The other one got a bit jelous and lonely so I did the operation on that one as well. Now they are a fully connected couple that love music and dancing.

Delivery of product fine. Quality of product is fine. Second purchase and they still work fine. Don't see any reason not to purchase again as needed in the future.

Did someone pull these out of a musty old basement after storing them there for the past 40 years? That's what these looked like. The picture shows gold plating - if there is any on there they must have chemically removed it. I guess they MAY work, but not sure how good of a conductor they will be will all that corrosion. Tried to take a photo but my camera isn't good enough to clearly show the issue.They were cheap, but save your money and buy some other brand that actually IS plated with something - nickle, chrome, gold, etc.I tossed mine in the garbage. Not worth returning.
