Simple excellent filter
I could write a long writeup about this product, but it would be just repeating facts in different ways, over and over again. So here it is. This is a very simple and effective filter that is easy to install and use. Not really sure about the amount of particular it filters out, as I do not have such a system in place to measure air purity. The room it is placed in (the child's room) seems ... peaceful.

Blueair HEPA is apparently better than most competitors---0.1 micron vs competitors' 0.3 micron
I almost bought one of the cheaper off-brand filter replacements, but then noticed that the Blueair filter says that it filters particles down to 0.1 microns vs other filters filter to 0.3 microns. I have copied this "AI" text from a google search: "Blueair's HEPA filters, especially with their HEPASilent™ tech, actually filter smaller particles (down to 0.1 microns) more effectively than standard HEPA, which is rated at 0.3 microns, capturing viruses, bacteria, and ultrafine dust better, while true HEPA just guarantees 99.97% at that harder-to-catch 0.3-micron size, making Blueair's 0.1-micron performance a key advantage for superior air purification. ".

Buy only these for replacements! Otherwise you’ll be sorry!
Don’t ever buy anything but the real deal. Buy these. Do not buy the generic crap. This Blue Air + filter replacement is worth every penny.

Best choice for quality is the OEM, but it's more expensive than off-brand replacement filters
The outer cloth filter (not this product) catches dust. This inner paper filter captures pollen and particulate matter. It seems to do the job, because it's dark when I change it every six months. It's very easy to change. It takes only a few minutes to replace. It fits well on the filter housing. The air flow seems to be better than the off-brand filters. Quality of manufacture is good. I have used the Chinese-made, off-brand filters, and those feel very cheap. Not sure if they work as well at capturing particles, and the air flow doesn't seem as good.
