I rarely post reviews here, but I am compelled to say a few words of praise about LanaCare products and Danish Woolen Delight. Even though the products are pricey (I've bought a few of them since my son was born 11 months ago), they are worth every penny. You cannot wish for better quality -- soft, pure, natural merino wool; seamless sewing; a dream to wear -- light, yet super-warm, but, yet, keeping moisture away from the skin, so ideal for any weather/climate. I wish those were available for adults, too, I'd buy myself the balaclava and the sweater without thinking twice. The wool is also nicely stretchy (without losing its shape), so it goes a long way beyond the assigned age appropriateness. (For instance, my son wore his LanaCare balaclava that was marketed for newborn-to-3-months beyond the time he turned 7 months old. He's in the 50th percentile for weight and head circumference). I recently bought him the 1-2 year-sized sweater & pants, along with the same-sized balaclava and, even though they are a bit baggy on him at 11 months of age, they are absolutely wearable and I have a feeling he'll be wearing the ensemble way beyond the 2-year mark. So, even though the items are pricey, you’ll get a lot of mileage out of them without their losing their quality. (Be careful not to wash them, though! The products say they are self-cleaning on the package, but it’s easy to forget or ignore instructions. The merino wool self-cleans by having it aired. But if you do have to wash – use the appropriate lanolin product that is also marketed by LanaCare. Search for it on Amazon.com.)I recommend LanaCare products by Danish Woolen Delight without a shred of reservation. Don’t think twice, invest in these clothes and let your child enjoy their unique, beautiful quality

This is the best warmest hat i have ever owned. I bought one for my sister too. We are adults … but fits great. It is soooooooo warm!

I was concerned that the baby won’t like it but she was ok. My baby’s head always felt warm and never sweaty. We got this hat for our trip to Iceland in november. It was very windy so we just put a hood from her jacket on top of this wool and she was totally comfortable. Sometimes I put a cotton thin hat underneath just to make ME feel more comfortable and be on extra safe side, but don’t think it’s absolutely necessary. I just felt calmer knowing that her ears won’t get cold because of the wind as this wool doesn’t seem to be a wind proof hat. But I generally highly recommend it

This thing is luxurious and feels like cashmere. My son always rips hats off but this one stays on. He’s 16 months but I sized up so that he can wear this for a few years. I’m jealous and want one for myself!

I don't usually write reviews for products, but after purchasing this hat for my 14 month old daughter, I felt compelled to. I absolutely love it. It is a bit pricey for a hat, but I really believe that it is worth the cost. The fabric is very soft and plush, and doesn't irritate my daughter's sensitive skin. Plus, due to the design, she isn't able to easily pull it off and toss it out of the stroller, as she often did with other hats. I only wish I had found this sooner!

Love the quality and its a perfect fit for my toddler. I’ve struggled finding double layered hats, and this one is made out of wool. My baby won’t take it off (like she does with every other hat) - fits over her head/neck perfectly and she’s comfortable & warm with it.
