Went on a hike in Greenland, and thankfully heard that bug net hats were a "must" for the trip. These hats were great and honestly saved the day. The bugs were thick, but stayed out of my face thanks to the net. Easy to get the net out, and easy to put away. Sometimes when the wind kept the bugs away I just pulled the net back. Not sure it was super fashionable but it was comfortable and kept the vicious creepy crawlies away. I usually struggle finding a hat that fits me (big head) but this was even a little roomy. I'll probably use it again in the woods around home. It didn't cause any problems with visibility either. Good choices of color. 5 star!

The hat is made with good quality materials. The brim is firm enough to hold its shape. I like being able to roll up the mesh and use it as a regular hat. The mesh works well and prevents mosquitoes from biting. I tried a couple of options and this is the best one.

We live in the mountains behind Santa Barbara, Ca where the day time temperatures are 10 to 20 degrees warmer than on the coast. With the warm temperatures the small ( we call them deer flies) flies are horrible and mostly kept my wife indoors to escape the flies. With the purchase of this hat she is able to be outside and not bothered by the flies. The hat is well made, very functional and light weight and she is very pleased with the hat, I am planning on purchasing a hat for myself.

This is a great hat to wear with or without the netting. I bought this for gardening, weed pulling, and general rose and shrub maintenance. Our lawn and bushes were abundant with small flying moths and other annoying bugs.Up my nose, in my ears and eyes. It was impossible to be outdoors and get any work done at all. But the purchase of this hat gave me the ability to work without the annoying flying bugs. It really works, easy to “shake” the netting loose and also easy to store it. I can highly recommend. Keeps the bugs out.One small downside is that the netting does restrict some vision. You can see through it (I bought the light tan one) but like looking thru a screen door. Which it kinda is. It works..

works like a charm for the mosquitoes when working in the yard or walking the dog

I hate mosquitos and am allergic to gnat bites, so I’m happy to say, this has solved all my problems when I’m outside watering my plants, working in my gardens, or just doing general yard work. I live next to some woods, so my mosquito problem is horrendous. I purchased the green one and am glad I did. I get occasional reflection of the sun off the mesh, which isn’t really too bad, but if I would’ve gotten one of the lighter colors, I think it would’ve been a problem. I do tuck it it into the neck of my shirt, which seems to help prevent any bugs getting in while I’m leaning over.

The mosquitoes in Houston are unrelenting and I seem to attracted them like a magnet. This mixed with my love of gardening makes keeping mosquitoes at bay without running off my pollinators at the same time a priority. I got this to at least keep them off my face, and works like a charm! Unexpected plus - seems to make me less of a target in general??? I wonder if it is because the CO2 expelled is more dispersed with the netting??? Not sure. Only down side is your head tends to get a bit warmer and hard to dab your brow with a net in the way. I have started tucking a paper towel just under the brim - perfect. Totally would recommend.

Wears well and keeps bugs out. Very light weight and easy to use.

The colour of the hat looks so much better IRL than in photos, really happy with the appearance. Brim is the right amount of stiffness to hold it's shape, even with the bug net in use.Fit is great (average/large head) and very breathable thanks to the inner mesh lining. Plastic tabs that hold the net in seems questionable, not sure how long it will hold up with multiple uses but so far so good. Pleasantly surprised with the overall build and quality!

I wear this hat everyday!! Great sun protection and not having to load on the bug spray is the best!! So easy to take down and store back inside hat! Love the colour too! Highly recommend this product!!
