Updated 01.02.19Summary: It worked well for 2 days and starting getting an errors on the MacBook so I think it was defective so Amazon sent a replacement. Replacement works greatPros:1- It fits an 2008 Macbook 13" laptop as expected2- Seems to charge fine so far (until it didn't)3- The price is right4- amazon replacement policy greatCons- nice if it didn’t have an warning within 2days- While i actually haven't heard of Sikar, i haven't heard of Skyvast either which is what i got- The photo showed Sikar but 15"- The description was for a battery for a 13" Macbook- It would be been nice if the description, photo, and products actually were all the same

Replaced the old battery in my MacBook 13" which was only able to hold a charge for under an hour. This runs for 4 hours - so impressed I bought a spare (which runs just under 4!)

I'm an Apple tech and so many of these batteries have issues right out of the box. This one looks right, fits right, and most importantly works as you'd hope. Keeps a good charge, was delivered new (I checked, it had no previous power/recharge cycles), and it holds a long charge. This is the brand I'll be sticking with for future clients.

My 2008 MacBook still had the original battery that would'nt hold a charge. Replaced it with one of these which worked OK, but battery status indicated that it should be replaced. After contacting Amazon a replacement was quickly sent and this one has been working great.

I purchased this replacement battery for a lightly used 13" macbook pro in August of 2018. When I purchased the battery, my laptop was working for a max of 20 minutes without being plugged in. As I write this review in May, 9 months later, I am pleased with the performance thus far and I have been able to cut the cord, enjoying hours of battery power alone!

Battery fits perfectly, testing it for the second day, so far it works great.This is my second try with non-OEM battery for my Macbook (the first one was from an other seller) and I highly recommend this one! Great choice for a great price.
