Select Increments 72625K XJ-Pod with Kicker Subwoofer

I was kind of worried about the sound quality of this thing due to the shape of the box. I bought it mostly for looks because of how it fits in the XJ... it's out of the way and you don't have to worry about a sub box bouncing around in the back. That being said, I had it professionally matched with an amp and installed, and it sounds fantastic. It rattled a little bit at first at high volumes, but some well-placed foam solved that problem.

Great product and deep sound. Had minor fitment issues but it worked out.Mine was professionally installed with a good amplifier.The Mesh protective screen must be screwed into the speaker screw holes to protect the cone.I had to use a little duct tape on the inside to stop any rattling from the cover.it was not a slip on cover and will not come off over time because it is screwed into the speaker housing.Highly recommend this sub for any Jeep XJ with the small cubby in the back right cargo area.

Better than advertised.

This thing is junk, The housing is thin plastic that flexes like crazy just with mild volume, the pod doesn't even fit entirely into hole it's designed for with the foam backing in place, plus it only screws plastic into plastic to secure it to your vehicle. I used an MTX amp rated for the sub that came with the enclosure and can not turn up my music without turning down my volume because it rattles and flexes so much it ruins everything. The speaker grille won't attach the speaker, not made correctly and there was hardware missing so I had to dig for enough screws to attach the sub. The only good thing about it is that it gets a sub out of the way so you can use all of your cargo area for more important stuff, like ammo. It's been installed roughly 2 weeks now and I can already see where it's pulling away from the plastic, basically by using it for it's intended purpose it's uninstalling itself, that's just wonderful...

The supplied grill does not fit the Kicker speaker. Specifically the ring with the attaching screw holes in it that the grill snaps onto is about 1/8" smaller in diameter than the O.D. of the speaker. Other than that it is as advertised. I am using it with a Fosgate mono amp rated at 300 watts into 4 ohms and it sounds good. Still, I'm going to have to either modify the outside of the speaker so the grill will fit on it or try and find another grill assembly that fits without modification. Lame.

Awesome fit, killer sound.

Did not come with foam insulation one of the most important parts.
