Versatile and User-Friendly 100FT Fish Tape for Every Project
The steel construction of this fish tape feels solid and reliable. It easily withstands the rigors of pulling wires through walls and tight spaces without bending or breaking. The 1/8" width strikes a good balance between flexibility and sturdiness. At 100FT, this fish tape provides ample length for various applications. I was able to navigate through longer runs without any issues. It coils back neatly into the reel, making storage simple and hassle-free.The handle is comfortable to grip, allowing for smooth operation as I pulled wires. The tape feeds out and retracts easily, reducing frustration during use. I appreciated the added efficiency it brought to my wiring tasks. This fish tape is perfect for a variety of jobs, from residential wiring to more complex installations. It easily maneuvers around corners and obstacles, making it suitable for both professional electricians and DIY enthusiasts.

Worked great for fishing audio cables
I had to fish 100 feet of audio cable through some exterior conduit and this worked perfectly. My only "complaint", if you call it that, was that there was a large amount of black residue that came off the tape onto my hands. Some kind of lubricant, I am guessing. So just keep that in mind and put on some rubber gloves.

Tape is primarily plastic with a fiberglass coating.
I thought it was a good tool until I tried to fish it through 3/4" conduit with with 6 existing 12 gauge THHN cables in the conduit. The conduit had a 45 degree and 90 degree bends. While working the tape back and forth, the tape snapped in two places. The break exposed the internal content of the tape. The actual tape appears to be plastic with a very thin coating of fiberglass on the exterior. Fortunately it stayed in tact until I could pull it out. Technically it is a fiber glass tape, and is very flexible, but is worthless if used conduit with existing cables.
