As a quilter, the chemicals used on fabric is hard on the hands. This bar does not transfer oils or ingredients while keeping the hands from chapping or getting irritated. Review: Will not leave you feeling greasy. Portable and wonderful. - I have used Northridge Gardens moisturizing bars for over 15 years. They are very portable, won't spill like liquid lotions, and you can take them with you on planes without worry. I have seen others "scoop out" the lotion from the container. The best way I have found, is to take the bar out of the container, use the warmth of your hands to "melt" the lotion bar and then apply where needed with your hands, on your hands, anywhere you need the comfort of dry skin relief. The scents are light and not overwhelming. To remove the bar, you loosen the cap , and turn It over and firmly tap it onto a counter, loosening the bar from the container. Put into your hands, rub it between your hands as long as needed and replace bar to container. Within a few short minutes you will see that nothing is left behind, you can touch papers and other surfaces without leaving lotion behind etc. This will also last though hand washings making it a protective barrier for your skin. Great for nurses and others who are constantly washing their hands. I came across this listing today and had to leave a review. I just LOVE these bars.
