It's nice and broad so feels very good. The material is thin so the belt is not bulky. I ordered the S/M and it just fitted. There is only about 30mm of overlap for the velcro to grip. This is the second one I've bought and I'm very pleased with it.Additional informationI've now had this for a number of months and it has been so reassuring to wear. I've just had an umbilical operation and it has also been reassuring to wear in the days after the operation helping reduce the feeling of drag on my stitches.

Hernia belt great fit, true to size very good quality. Stiffener strip at each side to stop curling up. I wear it on top of my t-shirt but is comfortable on bare skin. Would definitely recommend.

Followed size guidelines and came up large. It needs to compress to provide support so always go down a size.Once you do, it's great. Comfortable and supportive.

I have an umbilical hernia which is discomforting at times and also disfiguring. The Bell Top belt has proved excellent. It makes me feel better and a lot happier. Just make sure you choose the right size. I initially ordered a belt, but didn't realise it was XL. I am a 34in waist so this had to be returned. The replacement was delivered swiftly and on time and has, how can I put this, made me feel a lot better and continues to do so. I do thoroughly recommend and I don't do this very often .... I am also not a bot, am not being paid for a recommendation, but am a real person.
