ZEBRONICS Zeb-U725 600VA UPS for Desktop/PC/Computers (not for Routers) with Automatic Voltage Regulation, Black

I bought this UPS after building my custom PC 2 months ago and here is my review exactly after using it for 2 months. There are been barely few power cuts for very small amount of time, lets say 5-15 minutes and it worked well. I've a PC which consumes 165W of power in total along with a router. The longest power cut due to work and tree cutting in moonsoon season are 1-2 hours. The UPS was connected all the time to the power outlet and when the power cuts off, it remained perfectly well for 30 minutes and then started beeping continuously indicating low battery which is surprsing as it should work atleast 1 hrs on such rating of 180W. On beeping, I save my work quickly and shuts it down. It suddenly stops beeping continuously as load is reduced and the router stays on for another 10 minutes. Overall, it serves my purpose of small powercuts. But if you have powercuts of atleast 1-2 hrs, I don't recommend this one or else go for it.

I have been using this UPS for 10 weeks now. Initially it used to take 1 mini-PC, 1 monitor and 1 small fan (40W). Recently, I noticed that the UPS starts beeping, mostly due to battery drain) when i connect these 3 to it. When i switched off the fan, it stopped beeping which means the battery drains faster when i connect the fan too to the pool. Considering that I have used this only for 10 weeks, it is a concern about the quality of the product

Zebronics Zeb - U725 model was purchased on 08-May-2025. It was working satisfactorily for 6 months. Then it was not getting charged, no LED indication. Tried to charge without load and in different power socket, still not charging. I requested for an Onsite warranty claim, service engineer came and said it can not be connected with speakers, because of that it is short circuited and battery has gone below lowest charge limit (almost 0 volts), hence battery is not covered under warranty - it will cost Rs 950/- for new battery. So I opted no. The issue is not only this, when the technician opened the ups, the transformer was hanging out, not secured, the assembly was not done properly. Also the UPS is not compatible with speaker, is not mentioned in the product details anywhere in the page. Total waste of money in 6 months.

Used for 3+ years, good backup. Still works.

Not satisfied with longevity. After ~1.5 year of minimal usage(Only wifi modem was connected) backup is not working and drains within couple of minutes. Was using it primarily to keep wifi modem up for a short window(less than a minute) before my apartment complex power backup kick starts on an event of power down. Also, when directly connected with power supply, voltage output is consistently lesser making it unusable. Voltage issue remained even after trying a new battery, probably, issue with the circuit. With repair cost almost close to buying a new UPS, am planning to buy a better product even if the price is a bit higher than this.
