CAC and SD card reader on iMac
Truly found this product plug and play. iMac recognized and used without any issues. Able to use DoD CAC card easy and allowed access to necessary government websites. Able to read SD cards and this setup is easier than my iMac as ut sits in front rather than having to delve behind my mac to insert SD card. No power required as its powered by the USB port, Would purchase again and recommend it to other users who have a need to use their PIV or CAC cards.

Good reader
It recognizes the smart cards, but I'm having trouble figuring out how to get Linux to play with it.However the SD reader works good. Though I'm not sure if you can use both at the same time.They also sent a smiley face cutout with their info on the back. That would have been way more fun as a sticker. I suppose I could glue it if I really cared enough.

It works on several different types of cards.
This card reader does work in several different kinds of cards. I did find it easy to accidentally put the wrong card in a slot. I was able to remove it and everything was fine. It is a good solution for an external card reader.

Dies quickly
It worked great for a touch longer than 2 months, then it ceased functioning and the light is solid yellow with a cac inserted. I have written their customer service and will update if/when I get a response.
