Functional
For one looking to boost calories, this is a very simple and not to gross-tasting option. 8oz is easy to bear for 500+ calories. The chocolate is not too bad.

Highly effective
Costly but it’s very effective for people who have trouble getting enough calories. For us the taste is good. The only high calorie drink that has a decent taste.

Great drink
I don't know how to add a video. This great drink is for my partner who at this time is healing from a fractured hip and lost 40 pounds. The Boost is helping him with his appetite and weight gain. Can't praise it high enough. He loves his chocolate and vanilla boost daily.

Better than soylant but not as good as ensure plus
I've used 5 different kind of meal replacement drinks and only ever liked the ensure plus (chocolate). This would come at a second place but I still wouldn't order this again. This is too heavy and the taste does not feel good. I want a drink that I do not have to force drinking it every day. I now use ensure plus and it is significantly better than boost.

A necessary evil
If you remember drinking Boost or Ensure or any of the others back in the 90's-00's, the "chocolate" flavor tastes as bad as they used to back then, but is still better than the other options. Also they have that corpse-like vitamin stench and the texture is like pudding that hasn't fully set yet; not smooth and thick like a milkshake would be as the vitamins add some grit to it. You still need to keep these against the back of the fridge so they're as cold as possible to get them down. I'm glad there's no potassium chloride in these due to an allergy, but the potassium content as a high-calorie vitamin and mineral enriched meal replacement for sick people suffering from various health issues is much too low. On the bright side there are 530 calories in just 8oz so on days when I can only drink tea or clear broth and maybe have a popsicle I can at least take my medications that require "food" with 2 of these and wiggle my way up to my RMR/BMR for daily caloric intake.
