Sweet and Must Have!
Love this little guy. I can plug it into my semi-acoustics Bass guitar and plug in my headphones and play. With it's bluetooth function I use the app on my phone and play any songs/music through the device to my mini plugin headphones and I can do this at home or anywhere without bothering anyone. I use this for a Bass so I really did not care about the extra modeling functions (that said, I did need to work with it in the beginning to find just that sound I wanted) but no doubt if you are using one of these with a electric guitar, you would surely enjoy many of the extra sound modeling features to get the sound you are looking for. The recharging and battery life fits what is advertised. Works great. Lasts a couple hours. I've been using it now for 6 months. A MUST HAVE device for practicing in peace for you and all around you. Highly configurable and flexible to use. Love it. Totally portable. It's fast as what I music I play along from my phones bluetooth connection all work in sync as I expect them to.. Rugged, compact - well worth the buy.

Might Plug Pro vs Mustang Micro
That's what you want to know, right?Might Plug Pro(MP-3) is the answer. I returned the Mustang Micro (MM) in a matter of daysOn an end jack guitar (vs strat top jack) the controls and LED were hard to see on the MM and those are the only way to control the Mustang Micro. So you press this and that small button using a cheat sheet to follow the LED colors to get something dialed in that you like then... there is no way to save it.To me, this was a big flaw in a device that cost as much as some small practice amps. While there are not many buttons on the MP-3, they are easy to see and work on an end jack guitar. With the MP-3 you use the app to tweak something to your liking then save it to one of 7 slots that you access with an easy-to-see/use button on the device. You can have more than 7 presets but only 7 can be active at one time to access from the button on the device. It's been too long to compare the sounds between the two devices but I was satisfied with the sounds on the NUX. The effects did not sound too artificial and responded well to small tweaks.Warning: The device would not connect to my phone until I updated the firmwareI think this thing is the perfect blend of power use and ease of use. For practice 7 presets is plenty. I've got a kind of clean jazz sound, a very slightly dirty tweed blues sound, and a "classic rock" sound set up and I switch between those as suits my mood for practice that day. - I find with any headphone amp the more distorted the sound, the less good it sounds. The NUX costs almost as much as the MM but you get SO much more. The only reason I'd choose the MM over the MP-3 is if I did not want to use the APP at all, not even just to set it up.Oh, and a big PLUS these days. You don't have to create an account just to use the App both on my phone and windows. But once the firmware was updated no other drivers were needed to use the PC app on Windows 10.I have not tried the backing tracks/drum loops but I'm glad that feature is there for practicing, a feature completely lacking on the more expensive MM.I'm picky/critical of things but except for having to update the firmware to be recognized by the editing APP, it has completely met my expectations.

Lots of options, works well for BASS
I use this for practicing bass guitar. Bass is a particularly hard instrument to practice with, not loud enough acoustically but low frequencies cut through walls even if they're not terribly loud.Enter, the NUXThis bad boi has all sorts of good bass tones in it, add some IR's you find on the internet for free, and you're off to the races. Bluetooth functions work well, even on my old phone, it's pretty easy on battery, app interface is good, app in general does not suck.Really the only thing it needs is a tuner. If it had a tuner, it'd be perfect.

You can make it great.
Out of the box it has a few good tone. Some were not so good to my ear and with my guitar and headphones. Be prepared to fiddle with it for a couple of hours to get tones you really like. They are easily saved or even imported. I think it depends a lot on your gear. The nice thing is it’s easy to adjust the app as you would a real amp and pedals. Then save it. My unit squealed on one preset initially. I replaced it and no issues. You need a pc to update the firmware and a companion app to save multiple tone patches. The companion app (Mightier amp) is better to use with a iPad and has a few additional features. Pros; sound great, easy to use. Perfect silent practice setup. Cons; you will likely need to fiddle with it to get tones. It may not be intuitive if you don’t know all the gear and what it does. Just be patient and you will be rewarded. It’s also a bit tricky to manage the headphone cord coming off it but it’s way easier than using headphones with a practice amp.

A fun, convenient, and inexpensive practice tool!
I can't compare this to any similar products, but I'm satisfied with its performance. I use it while watching YouTube videos. The amps are great, and respond well to rolling off the volume, just like a real amp. For the price I think it's a great tool. I'd love if the next version had a physical tuner display built into the device, so tuning could be performed without needing the app. It would also be nice to have a looper of some type integrated. It would also be nice to be able to record on the app, so recording ideas with great tone would be easy and convenient. Making the battery last even longer would also help. A few times I played so long I killed the battery. I'm not positive, but I'd estimate I played 3 or 4 hours before the device ran out of power. I'm not sure if the device can charge while you're using it, but I thought others said this wasn't possible. Overall, it's a fun tool and worth the price.Edit:It looks like you can charge the device while using it.I was also able to record on my Android phone by using a USB-C cable to connect the device to my phone.
