Had these on my list for a little over a year before I actually bought them. I didn’t look at reviews first which was a big mistake. Firstly, when they arrived they were wet. Not sure if they were outside in the open while it was raining or what (It has rained 2 days ago so that may be it) however I am a bit annoyed by them coming in wet AND smelling funny which hopefully can be washed out. ALSO The main purpose of this thing is to exfoliate while in the shower. Hasn’t worked so far. Not the way to go if you ask me…UPDATE: I’m assuming they were supposed to be wet because when they dried up they didn’t work. I don’t understand how we are supposed to use them for exfoliation when wet and you definitely can’t use them when they are dry either- they must be for babies… if they aren’t then these are definitely not worth the purchase. I’ve tossed them…

Geez, I usually look at reviews before I buy most everything. Evidently I didn't do that this time. These do nothing to exfoliate nor are they anything like a sponge. The "thing" does suck up water but it's too smooth to do anything in the way of exfoliating. I thought, well, let's add some soap and see if I can use it as a sponge. Nah, that doesn't work either as the soap wanted to slide right off (until I caught it and rubbed it in) but again, it's too smooth to do much for washing. I might as well as take a silk washcloth and try to wash with that. (Might actually work better lol) Sorry for such a negative review but I'm even more sorry that I didn't read them before I wasted my money.

I figured out the trick to use it properly and thought i would share as at first i thought it wasnt working right. After you give the sponge a quick wash with soap and water, when you take it in the bath or shower get it wet and wring out the water then to use it DO NOT use soap. Soap is a lubricant so it wont rub off the dead skin. Wash with soap and water after exfoliating with the sponge. It took me a month before it dawned on me. Hope that helps. Aside from that i really like this sponge and some great places to try it is on the knee, under the breast (where the underwire sits), tops off feet and the ankles, and the hairless side of your forearms.

Worthless. Don't waste your money. A good sugar scrub works better.

I do like these however the directions are in Chinese not English. So not sure if it’s supposed to be used with water or not . I used in shower but not very wet skin and used the pad dry you have to rub hard I would say it works really well but it isn’t very easy to hold on to to get all places if your body. If I had directions in English and maybe a different shape. It would be 5 stars I got a two pack not sure if I will buy again
