so, Im using this as a pad on the hard edge of a shallow home made "sink" I use to wet sand automotive primer on small to medium sized billet aluminum parts, the foam gets wet with water, degreaser, and soap daily, and adhesive is still holding after 6 months, the foam has not broken apart or disintegrated despite being pressed and stressed by said parts daily, when I purchased it, I said to myself, I said... self, if this $10 roll of foam lasts a month, I'd be surprised, well its been 6 months and the foam is still holding and has very few scars from what Id call abuse, and not normal use, if this ever gets to the point of needing replacement, I wouldn't hesitate buying this again. In these times where nothing seems to be made to last anymore, this foam tape was a pleasant surprise

If you’re looking to really seal something invest in a rubber seal. This foam rips too easily

This worked out real well for my application, the tape stuck better than I thought it would. And it's somewhat foamy rubbery for a great seal.

The roll at first seemed odd, as it had a lining on the outside; I thought at first I might have mistakenly got double-sided adhesive. But no, it was only one side, which you pull away the white liner to reveal the adhesive side on the outside. This made it very easy to apply for my project - just unroll what I needed, peel the lining, then stick it down. A pair of scissors was all I needed to trim it to length, but a box cutter or similar razor knife would work well too. I used it as padding for the bottom area of a vertical metal paper tray sorter - so I could use it as a "charging station" for my laptops, tablets, and phone. The neoprene foam keeps my electronics from being scratched as they sit vertically. This arrangement makes it so that less space is needed on my desk to charge everything. I am very pleased with the product. All I have to do now if figure out what to do with the remaining five feet I have left over...
