Not for kids
Do not buy these for a little boy. My kid popped them all within 2 days. The first one sprayed a clear liquid, that smelled but thankfully wasn’t sticky, everywhere. He squeezed it as hard as he could, like kids will, and I spent 20 minutes cleaning a computer, carpet and walls. This is not a stress reducer for an overactive kid, but a definite stress inducer for parents cleaning up the mess.

Complete disappointment
This gets 2 stars because the shipping was fast & arrived before the estimated date. The product is very disappointing.Just a sticky sack filled with water. After mild use for approximately 5-10 minutes the item split & water started leaking out.The product feels sticky, as if a child wiped their used lollipop all over it.Complete disappointment.Ordered these for my coworkers, & really don't feel comfortable giving such a disappointing product as a gift - especially with the potential to leak on or around work computers.

Fun, unique
I bought these to go into a gift I was putting together for a friend studying for the MCAT. He really liked them. Everyone at work kept passing them around and playing with them. I'm not sure why they are called stress balls, though. They are squishy, and filled with some type of liquid, which is fine, but when I think of a stress ball, I think of a ball made of foamy material. No matter, they were a hit.

Simple but effective!
You wouldn't think something so simple could be so effective. My almost 6 year is very busy, so telling him something like have a seat a the table for a minute is pretty much impossible for him. Now when give him one of these squishy brains to play with he actually sits and concentrated on it, I've also given it to him when he was upset. I love that it is 3 of them so I can keep one around at all times. My only issue is that lint and dirt sticks to them, but I just rinse it under water and good as new!

Satisfying
Loses one star for the one I broke being too rough. Whoops! That’s the golden rule of squishy balls. Otherwise, this is a well made product that I love playing with at work. It helps reduce my anxiety. It didn’t work for my son who has autism and was sensitive to the sticky outside but works perfectly for me!

AVOID! 2 out of 3 so far have leaked EVERYWHERE
I was so excited to purchase these. I had hoped to use these with children on the Autism Spectrum to help them understand how to be "flexible" with their brains and thinking. However, after squeezing one brain after unwrapping it leaked all over my desk. The hole where it is "filled" was not sealed properly. I threw out Brain 1 because I figured it must be a dud, and I had two others. I am very disappointed because after opening the second of the 3 brains, it, too, proceeded to leak all over my desk again after I squeezed it. I am a smaller sized woman and I did not squeeze these brains with any brute strength. Since I naively threw out Brain 1, I cannot return them. Avoid these!!!!

Looks like something else
I'm amazed that i'm the first to say this. but these do not look like brains when you see them in real life. They look like part of a man's anatomy. I wanted them to show parents what a brain looks like, and now can't use them. Although my Facebook friends got a big kick out of them, they were a total waste of money for me.

Cute, but will probably break
They look really cute on my desk (I'm a neuroscience grad student), but they're not too terrible functional. I used it for its intended purpose a few times and was super careful not to squeeze it too hard, but it still managed to get a hold in it. I patched it up with super glue and just use it as a decoration now.
