Riolis 25 Count Zigouigoui Delight Counted Cross Stitch Kit, 3.25 by 3.25-Inch Beige

I have been stitching since I was a kid but stopped for many years because I lost the patience for it. Enter global pandemic and two months off work and I suddenly have a lot of time for things again! I picked this one, knowing it was going to be a challenge, but still underestimating how much of a challenge it was going to be. I had never worked on 25ct cloth before or done something in this type of shape before. The working size is 6.5 inches square, with 25ct cloth. Then with beading and accented with gold thread, then with stitching closed and filling the piece with fiberfill. Needless to say, I had my work cut out for me. It was good though! I spent a few hours each day for 12 days (yes I counted!) and had it finished. It's not super complicated (says the one that spent 20 minutes reading the instructions for a pattern that has four colors...). As long as you take your time, read the instructions top to bottom and side to side, you'll get it figured out.I am VERY happy with how it turned out. I would love to find more kits like this so I can do another one, but they are seemingly hard to find, at least in the States.TL;DR, great kit. Must have a feel for counted cross stitch to be comfortable with this. Quite a cute piece when done.

I love European counted cross stitch. This is a great little Christmas ornament.
