These are perfect. They don’t fall apart however they’re all exactly the same size but good for what I need it for. There’s a lot in there. They don’t leave strings everywhere and they’re very sturdy for the price. I use them for resin and they have good spreadability so the application is even the stiffness is great for what I need it for. It’s not flimsy. The length of the bristles are perfect. They’re not too short and they’re not too long making the paintbrush unstable when I’m using them for paint they’re smooth and they’re not frayed. There are actually intact. Even when you use them a lot they’re easy to clean and they don’t just fall apart. I can use them again again and I use them with resin also and when I clean them, they’re not falling apart.

Not Fancy, But Fantastic – Perfect for Kids, Crafts, and Husbands Who Steal Your Good Brushes Let’s be real: these aren’t the brushes you break out when you're about to paint the next Mona Lisa. But for stenciling, kids’ projects, or anything where you don’t want to cry if the bristles get glued together—these are perfect. As an artist, I wouldn’t use them for fine detail or canvas work, but I got these specifically for my husband, who kept “borrowing” (read: ruining) my good brushes for epoxy on his fishing rods. Now he’s got a pack of 50 to go wild with, and my nice brushes are safe and sound. Win-win. Synthetic bristles, decent quality, and surprisingly useful for quick, messy, or experimental work. Basically, they’re the brush equivalent of paper plates—practical, disposable, and you won’t get mad if someone messes them up.

For around $7 and for 50 of these small brushes, it’s worth the cost for my watercolor students. First, to clarify, these are about 6.5 inches or about 18 cm. They are small!!! Not at all like the pictures shown on the advertisement. I attached a couple photos for reference. The plastic body is not very strong so chill with the handling! The brush hairs/bristles are synthetic. I believe it’s a size 2 - see comparative photo with Silver Brush #2 and also with a larger size # 6. The ferrule is firmly attached. The brush doesn’t hold a lot of water/paint but comes to a point and paints well. The hairs/bristles stay together. I recommend it for detail work - watercolor, gouache, acrylic.

Low cost makes them disposable

Doesn’t shed. The metal feral often loosens causing the brush to separate from the plastic handle. The plastic handle melts if left overnight in orange oil brush cleaner. Doesn’t matter - just toss it. they’re very affordable. Probably not the best choice for oil painters because they are sensitive to solvents. Don’t leave these sit in solvent overnight.

Worked for what I needed

A good starter set for painting with acrylics, with flat and round tips.
