TERRIBLE PRODUCT - DO NOT BUY
I am writing this review after two months using an E50 unit. Fairly disappointing for such an expensive robot. The robot continuously gets stuck on the main drain. REALLY? It can stay on the drain for hours without any notification instead of cleaning the pool. See attached video. When it is not stuck, the movement is completely random. I do have a large pool an after 2.5 hours of cleaning with the naked eye one can see spots on the floor have yet to be cleaned. About cleaning the water line, when the mode "cleaning the water line only" is selected, the robot stays more time on the floor than cleaning the walls. It does reach the water line, but after a few seconds it looses grip. Then goes to the bottom, drives off the wall for a few seconds, and starts turning around. A lost of time and since it does not clean a wall continuously it misses spots also. The app is not user friendly. The manual drive has a multiple-seconds lag with the actual movement, so it is useless. Finally, notice that if you buy this unit and decide to return it the fee is 50% if the box has been opened and 20% if unopened, and you will need to pay shipping fees. I will NEVER buy anything from this seller again.

Does what it advertises it will do
Excellent. Way better than the one that run off the pool pump. Not maintenance free. Have to clean the filters often.

Not so great on walls and waterline
Overall cleans well, except there’s no rhyme or reason to its path. Does a great job on floor but is lacking with walls and waterline.

no so much power, can’t return because maybe no refund ?
Like other dolphins is great, very similar, very expensive, no so much power so gotta do some scrubbing, no, it doesn’t really climbs all the time, none do. Big basket design is awesome, fast delivery. Wanted to change it to the more powerful E70, but Backyard Supplies threatened with some or no refund at all if returned, will never buy from them again..update: after 1 year, not much scrubbing, wouldn’t pickup big leaves, not much sucking power…..2 years later, stopped working

excellent product
Very easy to use, compact and does a better job than hand vacuuming. Especially the walls and tile line. I would recommend the caddy for transport and moving and storage. We're elderly and this is a game changer.

Less capable than the Dolphin Nautilus CC Supreme
I ordered both this unit and the Dolphin Nautilus CC Supreme. This unit has a single larger basket for the collection of debris however the Dolphin Nautilus CC Supreme is a much better cleaner in my opinion. It is heavier has thicker cable from power supply to vacuum, larger power supply and is noticeably heavier.

Complete disappointment: jams constantly, wifi fails, skips large areas of pool
I've had the earlier generation of Dolphin pool robots, and loved 'em. This new "upgrade" is catastrophically worse. The suction motor jammed constantly on the tiniest of leaves, requiring disassembly with a screwdriver. In 30 days of operation, it couldn't go 2 days without getting jammed. Even when it worked, it left huge areas of my pool filthy. It would climb vertical walls and clean the waterline - but even slight gradual inclines stymied it. The wifi and Bluetooth connections failed constantly despite great signal. Dolphin claims you can remote control the robot with your phone to clean hard-to-reach areas, but forget it. The latency is so bad, and connections drop so often, that it's a waste of time.

Easy setup and easy to use.
I’m so glad I took a chance on this type of pool cleaner. Out with the Polaris and in with the Dolphin. Now that I’ve used it for a couple of months I can safely say I made the right decision. This is the one you want!

I failed to get it to pair with my phone. I left a message with the dolphin service department asking for help but never heard back from them. Better support for the product is needed.

It can’t climb the walls, the manual mode is awful. Waterline cleaning doesn’t work. Pickup function doesn’t work. It’s only good if you want to clean the pool floor hence the 2 stars. Going to send back for a refund.
