Got these because we have animals. I put one in my room where the rats are and it instantly became easier to breathe (slightly allergic to rats but I love them), I also put one in the bathroom as that is where the litter boxes are and it also helps with breathing in there even when my cats take the worst smelling poop ever. It also helps eliminate certain small orders that just linger.

These things work pretty well they have a compartment up top you can screw off that has a sponge so you can add a fragrance. They have a fan that you can set on one two or three and you can also set it to stay on up to 8 hours. I wish that there was a function where you can have them running constantly that is my only complaint and the only reason why I'm not giving five stars

I have been using this air purifier in my small bedroom, which is located right next to the kitchen, and I must say, it has not proven effective. Despite running the device continuously for three days, even with the addition of essential oils, it fails to eliminate the lingering odors from cooking. The smell of food permeates the space, making it less than ideal for restful sleep. Unfortunately, this purifier does not meet my expectations for combating kitchen odors in such close proximity.

The Air Purifier is small in size and will only be effective in small areas like the bedroom.It draws air in thru small holes on all four sides of the unit and passes it thru a round carbon & Hepa Filter cartridge where it blows put the top. It has a round closed recessed area in the center of the top with sponge and round plastic cover with holes that you can add essential oil to. The air flow does not pass thru the sponge so it's not very effective at dispersing the scent.It has three speeds: in Sleep mode the fan speed is very low and might as well just leave it off. Slow speed however does not make that much noise so I use that for sleep. High speed is where the filter is actually going to be the most effective. What I don't like about this Air Purifier is that on High speed it automatically slows the Fan to slow speed after maybe 90 mins. The indicator light shows it's in high but the fan turns on low speed. I suspect this was cost cutting measure designed this way to prolong the life of the fan motor rather than upgrade to a longer life motor.You can vacuum dust from the filter to prolong its life but if it's filtering smoke you will need to replace the filter to be effective. Instruction show a 3 month filter replacement cycle.Replacement filters are $19.99 each but if you buy a 2-pack you can get the cost down to about $15 each.
