I was tired of keys being out and about. Tired of needing to make new keys. Tired of kids locking themselves out. Now I'm just tired of my kids giving the keycode to friends. There isn't a great place for me to attach this key box, so we keep it in an easy to reach location for all household members. Our original key box was up too high and used so much that we apparently wore it out. It lasted about 15 years. But it was smaller than this one and barely fit anything other than a single key. Now my neighbors key fits in our box as well with room to spare. The box is sturdy enough. I know I will likely need to replace it, not because of it not being good quality, but because of the carelessness of the kids who use it so often. It is meant to be hung up and will last longe that way. I'm not sure how many falls on cement this box will withstand, but I would buy it again.

Just know that the actual box is in plastic, would not take much to be broken open.

Its ok. I feel the holder itself could have been made with a little sturderier material. But it holds and hides keys.
