Very strong magnet on this and it cleans well.

The Hygger magnetic aquarium cleaner (medium) performed extremely well. I have a 55 gallon aquarium made by Imagitarium and I have hair algae growing on the glass surfaces of the tank. I don't mine that because it's part of my aquariums ecosystem and it's under control. I just needed the front glass clean for display purposes so friends and family could enjoy viewing the tank. The Hygger magnetic cleaner outperformed my expectations. I'm very satisfied with how fast and easy it was to use. The design is durable and versatile and did not damage the glass. The medium size is perfect for a 55 gallon aquarium. Please see my before and after pictures.

I have been a saltwater/reer aquarist for over 20 years have a lot of magnetic glass cleaners over the years, and this thing is hands-down the best I have ever used. I had the Flipper Float before this one (which is more expensive!) and it broke the blade cleaner mount afer less than a year of use, rendering it useless as a scraper. This thing is a monster! The scraper blade is forward of the main cleaning area (no flipping!) and it knocks off all the hard stuff including coralline growth easily. The magnet is incredibly strong and aids with shifting the most stubborn encrusted growth. Bad news for the snails and tangs but great for me! 1000% recommended!

I have a 120 gallon aquarium and this is perfect for keeping the glass clean. The magnet is very strong (mind your fingers) so it retains its strength even through the 1/2 inch glass.

Works ok on my glass aquarium. Very strong magnetic application. I used the stainless steel attachment to try and remove coraline algae with little success. The attachment doesnt make enough contacy with the glass. Will have to continue using a sharp razor blade for that. Otherwise works fine to remove soft algae dust. Have not noticed any trouble with glass getting scratched.

This is the strong magnet with scraper after purchasing many other ones that I would’ve bought the first time. It’s helped me to remove difficult green glass algae. Good product and only wish it came with more scraper blades so far it’s been safe to leave in the tank two months in.

Cleans the inside of a tank like a champ. The magnets are super strong so be careful not to get your fingers crushed (did that twice in a row).

Update: I’ve had this for a year and a half and it’s still great! Only downside is that I have to replace it due to some sanitation issues —not due to the product, but I cannot for the life of me get it clean enough to kill off some sort of bacteria that has infected my tank 3 times. Not sure if maybe it’s the scrubber section? But a 30 minute bleach bath didn’t do the trick. Anyhow, still a good product, and worth the money under the assumption that you’re not replacing it. Like other reviewers, I had never heard of Hygger or seen them in any of my local fish stores, but the solid reviews made me hopeful. Let me just be clear: this product is FANTASTIC for a glass tank. My 30gal tank was in rough shape - green algae, hard water residue and worst of all, red slime algae (cyanobacteria) taking over my glass. The two scrapers I had before (one with a "soft" scraper, one with a "hard" scraper - kinda feels like velcro?) couldn't put a meaningful dent in it. The exterior handle on this product is comfortable, and it covers a decently large area so you're not cleaning like 2 inches at a time. The magnetic grip is super strong but not impossible to separate like some people warned. You just twist one side 90 degrees and it slips off. But this also means it's not falling off in the tank. Even if it does, the scraper side FLOATS! My last scraper would sink into the substrate and then you have to clean it thoroughly so you're not accidentally scratching the glass with tiny bits of substrate. Not a problem here. The scraper itself did a pretty good job breaking up the newer algae growths and hard water residue. It wasn't quite tough enough to break up the red slime algae, but clicking on the razor blade attachment was very simple and I didn't even get my fingers anywhere near the blade. The blade made relatively quick work of the rest of the algae and the combo of blade and scraper made cleaning a breeze. Finally, my tank is back to a clear quality and I can enjoy my pets again in all their glory. Taking the razor off to store was also very easy and once again - did not run into any issues in terms of nicking fingers. Only thing I can think of is that if you have an acrylic tank you might have an issue because it's so effective? (Update to add you can use the plastic scraper provided for acrylic tanks.) A bow front might be a challenge too, not sure as I've never owned one. But for a rectangular glass tank, this is perfect. Definitely worth the price.

Después de probar otros más baratos , la diferencia es abismal, está claro que si quieres un buen imán , que arrastre bien todo lo que se pega al cristal , necesitas un imán así . Nuestro cristal de acuario es de 15mm y va de maravilla. Ojo nunca pegar las dos partes sin tener algo de por medio, yo alguna vez he tenido que despegarlos y es muy complicado y si haces palanca te juegas los dedos . Imán muy potente

Sono rimasto molto soddisfatto dall'acquisto di questo prodotto, la motivazione? È perché svolge il suo lavoro egregiamente. Ma partiamo dal principio! Ho sempre avuto grossi problemi con la formazione di alghe sul vetro dell'acquario, alghe massicce e consistenti davvero difficili da rimuovere. Nel corso del tempo ho provato vari accessori per la rimozione di queste suddette alghe, senza però ottenere risultati soddisfacenti,anzi devo dire: quello che sono riuscito ad ottenere non è stato altro che graffi orribili sul vetro che hanno deturpato l'estetica del mio acquario! 🙄 Come per tutti quei prodotti miracolosi, a detta di chi me li consigliava, efficaci per l'eliminazione di questi organismi...... pressoché inutili! Le alghe erano sempre lì ed io non sapevo più che cosa fare, fino a che non mi venne consigliato questo articolo. Ormai scettico sulla funzionalità di qualsiasi prodotto, mi decisi di acquistarlo, anche su convinzione e garanzia di efficacia da chi me lo aveva consigliato. Ad oggi non sono per niente pentito di averlo acquistato, come dicevo all'inizio vale davvero la pena comprarlo. Hygger e composto da magneti davvero forti che permettono una presa salda sulle due estremità, entrambe le maniglie si muoveranno contemporaneamente senza grosse difficoltà e soprattutto senza recar danno al vetro. La spazzola di pulizia interna svolge un'azione pulente su quelle alghe la quale rimozione non risulta essere particolarmente complessa, mentre sulle alghe più ostinate ci vengono in soccorso i due raschietti removibili, in dotazione con il prodotto, di cui uno in plastica e l'altro in metallo, che attraversano il movimento da noi prodotto eliminerà con efficacia e velocità lo sporco più ostinato. Una particolarità del detergente per acquari magnetico è il design flottante che impedisce alla maniglia nella parte interna dell'acquario di affondare nel caso quest'ultima si staccasse dall'altra estremità posta all'esterno, particolare molto comodo che permette una facile rimozione senza arrecare troppo disturbo ai pesci. Il prodotto risulta robusto e durevole nel tempo e il suo design non disturba l'armonia dell'acquario. La sua efficacia è testata da me nel video associato a questa descrizione.

Extremely strong magnet, cleans really well. A bit expensive but hopefully it lasts long enough to make it really worth it.
