Let me start off by saying that the skincare counter salespeople used to love seeing me headed their way. I was hit by the genetic curse of having seriously combination (both severely dry and severely oily in places), sensitive, allergic skin that is almost always splotchy and red. Oh, and I use prescription retinols which makes my skin scaly in patches and even more temperamental. Basically, I'm a mess. I had tried everything. About a year ago, I started using k-beauty products and it made an incredible difference in some areas, but I still couldn't find a moisturizer that normalized my combination patches or calmed the dry scaly sections that I could use in conjunction. So I just started doing a ton of searching on Amazon and found Gratitude. I've only had it for a few days and it has already done so much for my skin. What dry patches? What oily patches? I don't even need another eye cream so far.... What?? I don't think my skin knows that there's a heat wave going on here in California because it's not acting stressed at all. Unless it's drunk, I'm going to assume that this stuff is the stuff of miracles. And if that changes, I'll definitely update this review, but for now... Wow.

This moisturizer is amazing. It has a wonderful scent, I'd describe it as a very light citrus. I put this on twice a day. It makes my skin super silky soft. It doesn't leave it oily, which is amazing considering I have combination skin and my nose and forehead are usually quite oily. At night, I also put the cream on my entire under eye and the sides where the dark circles go up along my nose. I've never had any eye irritation doing this, even when I ended up putting eye drops in my eyes not too long afterward. It's so light that I can have it on underneath my makeup without my makeup looking thinner or too shiny. It has started to improve dark spots that are left over from acne breakouts, too. It does make your skin glow. Although it hasn't helped my acne, it hasn't made it any worse. If my skin is having a good week, it continues having a good week, and if it has a bad week, the moisturizer doesn't bother it any. I've never had any dryness or irritation with this moisturizer either, even though I have very sensitive skin.

LOVE this stuff. Just bought it less than a week ago and my skin feels much more hydrated, soothed and balanced. Considering the temperatures of 10 degrees in my neck of the woods of late, that is saying something. The indoor dry heat was leaving my skin chapped, dry and irritated. My usual beauty products (even all natural oils) were not gentle enough on my skin to hydrate without irritating. Light enough to use before makeup. I will be purchasing more!

Incredible...I am 48 and I have been searching for a moisturizer for my combination skin...I have no wrinkles but face has begun to have dry patches around mouth and forehead and eyes. I do not hesitate to return items to Amazon if not pleased, but this item is a keeper. My skin is supple without a greasy feeling and a little goes a long way👍🏼❤️

My wife loves this facial cream. Sometimes she complains that her skin is dry and asks me to buy this face cream. She likes it a lot cause she brings it with her whenever we travel.Some other creams only last two three-hour than skin feel dry again and need to apply more. This cream can only apply once a day. Suggest getting several of this facial cream so you can apply it anywhere when you need it. Nice buy!

I'm just about to turn 40 and my skin is changing. I suddenly need a lot more moisture (and more miracles!) than I did before. I've been experimenting with various moisturizers and night creams and I have to say this one is perfect. It is super effective and moisturizing, leaving my skin soft and smooth. But it isn't too heavy. It absorbs well and easily, making it the perfect moisturizer to layer under sunscreen or makeup. I've tried everything from high-end expensive department store brands to direct marketing favorites, and this one beats them all, hands down.

I use this as my daytime moisturizer here in the dry, high-altitude climate of Colorado. It absorbs really quickly but isn't greasy at all, nor does it have an obnoxious smell. A little goes a LONG way: I have had the same jar for almost a year and a half (I am writing this review because I just realized I need to re-order another jar!) I wear this over the Mad Hippie Vitamin-C serum, and underneath my make-up, and my skin feels smooth and soft (even in the snow).

My face has never looked or felt better. Even after one use my redness in my face was completely gone. My face feels super soft like a babies bum. It even seems to be helping with my dark circles under my eyes and that's something I've never had luck with in other products. I use it twice a day.
