Pretty nice table but instructions are a joke
I installed this on my 2009 Jeep Wrangler JK Rubicon two-door. The table seems to be built pretty solidly. I like that the closure clasp has a little lock on it so that you can't accidentally open it or it won't open on its own. The cutting board, or wooden extension table, is pretty thin and you shouldn't be chopping turnips on it if you want it to last. The table has rubber bumpers on it so that when you close it, nothing rattles around and it all fits really tightly. That was a big concern for me but this table seems to pack up rattle-free. As mentioned in the title, the instructions for installing this product are laughable and utterly useless. I ended up looking for assistance via YouTube videos and found one that recommended using spacers between the table and the tailgate to get proper placement and function of the extension table while still allowing the black plastic cover on the tailgate to remain in place. This table is a Chinese copy of a South African brand, so if you know what that brand is, you can easily look up the installation videos on YouTube. The spacers in the video I saw were aluminum but I used PVC pipe cut to approximately 1 in lengths. I included a couple pictures for illustration. Since the instructions are terrible, there's no mention of how to use the sizeable bag of hardware that came with the table. I used my own riv nuts so I only ended up using four bolts, four washers, and four lock washers from the bag, leaving most of the hardware unused. The table also came with a large metal bracket and there's no mention of how to use it in the instructions either. Overall it's a great table, but not user friendly at all when it comes to installation. This company needs to get with the program and hire some American tech writers to help them with writing their instructions. Other than the complete lack of guidance during installation, I think this is a great product as Jeep tailgate tables go. None of them are going to be amazing examples of modern engineering and design, but this one looks like it's built pretty solid and like it's going to hold up over time. I'll be using it as soon as this weekend. So far I'm pleased with the product and the only reason I gave it four stars is because of the complete lack of guidance during installation.

Solid product
These guys put a lot of thought into this product. If I had one complaint, the directions are not correct for a 2020 JLU, the plastic can't be removed as the directions indicate. Other than that love it.

Good table for Jeep or Excursion
Nice table, and plywood slide out. Fits Ford Excursion drivers barn door. Hitting wood with torch aka HS shop trick makes it look a lot better. But it.

Solid
Installed on a Jeep JL. Had to drill 4 holes in the plastic trim on the tail gate. Used a 12mm drill bit. Hardware for multiple different vehicles included. Instructions weren't very helpful. Found a YouTube video of someone installing the Front Runner table...similar enough that I followed their directions. Probably took 30-45 min ⁹rattle. Fits my large 2 burner Brunson stove perfectly.

Nice table, but a pain to install!
A nice, well constructed table! 3 stars because the instructions are worthless! I installed ours on a 2016 Wrangler which they say it fits… it does but with modifications! I had to put 1x1 square tube spacers so that it would clear the floor when the gate was closed, and so the extendable table would clear the hump on the inside of the tailgate when open. There’s no other way on earlier wranglers. I also used 1/4-20 nutzerts instead of sheet metal screws, but it definitely was a task to line everything up. If you’re not handy with tools or fabrication, I’d have it professionally installed. Otherwise, it’s a very nice, well made table!

Good for the money. Cutting board could better
Okay product. My locking mechanism came mounted a bit crooked. Straightened it. The screws behind the latch left a long gouge, scratching a line into the wood when sliding the cutting board open. You can use a felt furniture pad to cover those screws. The cutting board is cheap plywood, but the brand name version of this has a board that’s better than this, but not great either. Good news, you can order quality, custom cutting boards online. In the end, this is a decent table for the price. I’ll keep it because I can’t justify big bucks on a tailgate table I won’t use often. One more thing: Lots of reviews said the instructions suck. They weren’t kidding! Don’t waste your time looking at the printed instructions. Look up the installation video for the name brand version on YouTube. Installation is identical!

Great tailgate table!
First off, I put this in a 2022 Jeep Wrangler Willys with the ORM trail rail system installed. I used the trail rail on the tailgate to mount this table without drilling into anything just using some simple hardware (square nut, bolt, washer and rubber washers) from Home Depot. I also added rubber bumpers to the bottom corner (not attached to the tailgate, only the table) just to offer a bit of support when the table has weight on it. So it's off to a great start! Past that, this is a great tailgate table, solid build (I even dropped it while installing without any damage). Not absolutely stellar in every category but for the price point, well worth it. The latch has a spring loaded mechanism to keep it from piping open when driving around. The supports are solid metal opposed to the cable seen on other tables. The slide out table offers a good amount of added space and is ok material for it's purpose. If you're not satisfied with the pressed wood it comes with, use it as a template and make your own from any lumber you choose (future project for me). Pull out table does have a very slight sag as expected but not bad, even parked on an uneven surface this is flat enough to hold a can without sliding off. Overall, very satisfied with how this table turned out installed on my Jeep. Happy Jeeping!

Yes the table fits the Jeep JL and if you look at the hole locations they actually line up with 4 of the Trail Rail mounting points on the door. You need to make holes in the trim or remove it entirely. I chose to make the holes, I then cut down the spacers so that they protruded just out of the trim. Mounted it using the supplied bolts and it fits ok. However while it does have the rubber bump stops to prevent the wood rattling, they do not touch the metal shelf so while the wood doesn't rattle the shelf most definitely does. I had to fit a layer of 5mm DynoLiner foam on the underneath of the shelf to stop it rattling on the wood. The wood was damaged like it had been dropped and also had some odd staining on it. The screws to help it slide are too long, and the points stick up through the other side of the wood, so watch your fingers! I can't see the clamp that holds it together lasting long either, it's very flimsy and I've already had to bend it back in to shape once. It's an ok table, but not worth the price tag maybe if it was £90 - £100 I would have been happier with my purchase.

The table is well made but the instructions are sorely lacking. Extremely poor instructions. Other than that it is a nice item to have.

It’s strong and well done the steel part. The wooden table is hard to extend and came with big scratches.

This is great for using for extra counter top storage. Found that the cutting board on the 2012 Jeep Wrangler needs to be cut out at the top due to the design of the tailgate.
