I have an old ironing board with a padding and scotched up fabric so it was time to get a new set. This arrived quick.Took it out and got it to fit the board. Important to center it so the ends are even throughout the board. Tug it carefully.There isn’t a lot of overlap so it is snug.In photo - The back uses snapped on elastic strips to better secure it. If you cross them on the bottom end and avoid the area where the legs retract at the top there is no interference folding up the board. Someone had complained that the strips got in the way.Yes it’s wrinkled when unpacking. It wrapped around snuggly smoothening most wrinkles. The wrinkles should even out with a hot iron.Thicker pad than what I had originally. Bought the silver heat resistant fabric.So am very satisfied. Ironed some shirts fine. Didn’t scorch.

This is a nice, thick cover. I do a lot of ironing, so I need something that’s going to hold up over time. So far, this fits the bill. The only thing I’d change about it is the straps. I prefer straps that are already attached to the cover with Velcro to tighten it.
