Who Stole the American Dream: The Book Your Boss Doesn't Want You to Read

Dated MLM Motivational Book
This book is nearly 20 years old, and shows its age here in 2013. Written just post the mid-90's recession, the book is a rah rah motivational book touting the value of the MLM business model. The 3 star review is no reflection on MLM in and of itself, but the book, while fairly well written with anecdotes, examples and interesting tidbits, is very much an unbalanced view of the MLM environment and business opportunity. Some of the people used as examples are now deceased, and the general overview doesn't resonate well for the 21st century reader. A relatively quick and upbeat read, this would not be at the top of my reading list, but if I were an MLM'er (I am not), it may be interesting enough to peruse in your spare time.

This is a franchise ad
After I read a number of chapters, it was evident that many have had the American Dream stolen by the Banks and Corporations, but this is simply an advertiesement for anyone considering a franchise business. Go in business for yourself with the help of McDonalds, Wendy's, etc.

Uninspiring
I felt I was being pitched life insurance when I read this. I would not recommend your time to read this. Pick another of the 88 million books out there to read.

Commercial.
Not what I thought it would be but good for comparison in a comprehensive library.
