Great option to reduce glare (Matte) and barely increase the friction between finger and screen
I purchased this screen protector to go on my brand new Nexus 5. I bought this brand in the past for a Nexus 4, so I was familiar with the packaging, installation, etc, but I was still pleasantly surprised - this protector met my needs far better than the Nexus 4 protector I used. If you are looking for a good Matte finish and don't mind that the screen is going to feel slightly different, I think that this is a great purchase.Packaging:Very simplistic, but sufficient. Inside the package you see, there was a microfiber wipe, several 'dust removal' stickers, a cardboard card used to apply the screen protector, and 3 screen protectors. Each screen protector has a single side of protective film, presumably because the texture and matte finish of the other side does not require protection prior to installation.Installation:Installation directions indicate that you should wipe the screen with the microfiber, then use the stickers to remove any dust, then to remove part of the protective film, align the protector, and slowly roll back the film to apply the protector to your screen. I followed these directions, but with the expectation that I would use one of the three included protectors as a throw-away to ensure perfect application of the second protector. This way I was able to practice aligning the protector, identify any dust particles that I didn't notice at first, and get the screen totally prepared for the protector. Yes, I did waste one of the three protectors, but this way I don't have any specs, spots, or bubbles between the screen and the protector.Look:The screen protector is almost totally undetectable. Another reviewer had a problem with the size, but I think the size is about perfect. If it were any bigger, installation would be much more difficult (you would have to ensure exact placement to avoid any overlap). As installed, there is a ~2 millimeter difference in height and less than 1 millimeter difference in width of the phone. The protector does a great job at reducing glare, and I really like the matte appearance it gives my phone. It makes my phone far easier to use in sunlight and adds a sense of depth and definition to the screen. If you've never seen the difference between a 'glossy' screen and a 'matte' screen, I recommend you try to see them side by side - it's amazing what a difference it makes. If you can't do that, I suggest you pull the trigger on the matte, anyway - my wife saw the phone for the first time with the protector already applied, and she really liked it.Feel:There is a difference in the feel of the protector. While the naked screen feels smooth and slick, the protector adds a bit of resistance. I wouldn't call it 'rough', but it's not smooth anymore. There is a tactile sense that doesn't seem to impact my use at all - I've not had any trouble using the screen (keyboard, swipe, etc) from this. Think of it like the grip of a glove - perfectly smooth allows the finger to glide, which is useful, but has the least amount of grip and control. This screen protector is like a layer of tape used on running gloves - there is a tiny bit of resistance and added grip, but not enough be problematic. I would bet that the change in feel is the biggest reason people decide not to use this protector - I personally like it, but be warned that there will be a noticeable difference - you won't be able to fool anyone who resists even minute changes.

Dual polarization (phone turned sideways + polarized sunglasses = dark/black looking screen) no longer a problem!
The Google Nexus 5 phone has a polarized screen. Unfortunately, if you are wearing polarized sunglasses, and turn the phone sideways the dual polarization of both the sunglasses and the phone causes the screen to look dark. Remove the sunglasses and you'll see the phone is working just fine, it's just the effect of the polarization that creates this problem. These screen protectors alleviate that issue nicely -- screen doesn't look dark when turned on the side and while wearing sunglasses, and no fingerprints and smudges! Love it! Now you can have your phone turned sideways in the car, showing you a map/navigation, with sunglasses on, and you can still see the screen nicely. This was my main objective getting a screen protector - I'm constantly wearing sunglasses and having to remove them in the car to see my phone is/was aggravating. No more, yay!The matte surface is nice and really does repel fingerprints and/or smudging from normal use (if you hand your phone to a sticky fingered toddler, it might not fare as well). It is does not have a glassy feel like the screen does, but once you're used to it it's fine.Installation is always a pain, but that's with any screen protector. They supply all you need to get the job done and the videos on their website are helpful. They suggested applying it in the bathroom, which hadn't occurred to me, but it makes sense -- the daily high humidity from showering lowers the dust level considerably! I always thought that once you got some lint/dust on the sticky side of the actual protector you're basically done and need a new one, but they supply stickers that you can lightly use on the sticky side of the protector to pick up stray dust.

Great screen protector!
I have a Tech Armor screen protector on my Nexus 7, Nexus 5 and have had them on multiple iphones. I have used different companies in the past, but Tech Armor is the best. Their screen protectors are of very nice quality. I had one issue in the past and Tech Armor was quick to sent me a new set of screen protectors, no questions asked. After that kind of service, I will be a customer for life.Regarding the N5 screen protector, I agree with another reviewer that the screen protector is a bit small. It isn't edge-to-edge by any means, but I'd say it covers about 95% of the screen. The cutouts for the speaker and camera are perfect, though. This screen protector does a great job of cutting glare, but it does reduce the sharpness a little bit. It's a trade off, but I prefer to eliminate glare since I use my devices in the sun often. I find that this screen protector does a good job at reducing fingerprints. It doesn't eliminate them completely, but it helps and when you do get fingerprints, its easy to wipe away.Overall, I am very pleased with this screen protector and Tech Armor in general. I would recommend this screen protector to my friends and family.

Mixed bag. Do recommend however.
First thing you notice is the packaging; simple, sturdy and has the instructions and protectors in separate sleeves. Nice touch. The screen protectors however I have mixed feelings about, see below.Pros:- Fantastic cutouts and fitment! Nearly unbelievable for it being so cheap and w/ a lifetime warranty!- Anti-glare- The included squeegee. It's. So. F***ing. Good.Keeper for sure.- Did I say the fitment? It's REALLY good!Cons:- Causes the most distortion and speckliness I've seen using matte protectors. Previous cheap <$1 ones had WAY less. Not terrible though, still really clear.- Initially felt tacky, Idk why. Fixed with isopropyl alcohol, microfiber cloth and lots of rubbing.- Not as anti-fingerprint as claimed. Not at all TBH...All in all excellent protectors for your money and definitely recommend! :3

Product is a good quality, easy to install
I ordered the screen protector using amazon prime. The package came on the exact date as mentioned. It was in its original box as it's shown in the picture. Product is a good quality, easy to install. It has a matte finish which reduces the stress from light on the eyes. It doesn't effect the sensitivity of the touchscreen which I love. I would definitely recommend this product and the seller.

Screen Protectors that seem to do their job
Overall, this is a really nice screen protector. It went on smoothly, and seems like it'll protect my phone well.My only issue with it is the way it feels when I'm using my phone (specifically, swyping for texts). This is probably due to the type of screen protector I chose, but for that reason I'm not sure if I'll keep this one.Update: I have bought 3 packs of these now, because over time I find they get really scratched up and kind of dirty looking (even after cleaning). I know they have a lifetime warranty - but these meet all my expectations and spending $8 every year isn't a big deal!

would recommend!
These are some really good screen protectors. The kit included screen cleaners, cards for smoothing out bubbles, and some sticker like things that are used to take dust off the screen before application.Surprisingly, I got no bubbles at all when applying the protector, and so far, I have very little scratches and the anti glare is fantastic. Super good for the price!
