It works to restore and build Akkermansia levels
This works! I had less than detectable levels of Akkermansia on two GI Map tests, despite taking a different brand of Akkermansia daily for six months. I switched to this brand, despite the high price, and tested again 3 months later and now have a high level. It really works!

Makes a very tasty, creamy, healthy yogurt.
We just fermented one capsule with inulin into yogurt for 36 hours at 99 degrees, works similar to L-reuiteri. By turning it into yogurt last longer and multiples in quantity of the bacteria, the yogurt came out delicious and creamy.

Single organism blend doesn’t fit the price point for this product.
Akkermansia is all the rage because it’s found in the guts of skinny people. This is too expensive in my humble opinion for a single organism product though. If I take a probiotic, I want multiple organisms offered in the formulation. Also, I guess it never quite colonizes in the gut…so you have to keep buying it!

Be careful if you have existing gut issues
I've taken other pro- & pre-biotics from other companies like RenewLife and Garden of life, and Physicians Choice but they never made me feel like this. I've had IBS since high school (I'm 44) managed well with diet and supplements, and I recently had my gallbladder removed, so I'm on an even more modified diet of lots of veggies, fish, chicken, water - no fried food, dairy, gluten, or sodas. I'm really careful about what I put in my body. I decided to give this a try because how could Storm be wrong?Welp, after daily consumption for 2 weeks I had to stop. The gas, explosive elimination, the cramps, the nausea - it was like I had my gallbladder back with colitis to boot. It only exasperated my gut issues and I have a food & medication journal, so I knew what the cause was. It may work for some, but unfortunately not for me.Another issue was the expiration date - the FAQ says it is considered expired 6 months after the printed MFC date, mine was 12/2022, so technically it expired in June 2023. So, there's that. And btw this is non-refundable so it was a costly experiment but, I guess I can thank them for the unplanned & unpleasant cleanse I received before my vacation. Lol

Not worth it in my opinion.
I took this for a month and didn’t notice any difference. I really question the need for these supplements. Just eat the right kind of foods, like high fiber foods. I found some fresh Kimchi at the store in the refrigerated section that isn’t spicy and is delicious and full of natural probiotics. I eat a little bit of that most days and feel the benefits. It’s North Korean style made by SINTO gourmet. It is a lot less expensive than theses pills.
